Can anyone recommend a "scary" game?

I have $110, a PS3, Wii, and 360 and I feel like playing a scary/horror game that is ACTUALLY scary. I played F.E.A.R 1 and 2 and neither were scary. Can someone please recommend me a scary game?

EDIT: My PC has the worst specs ever so please do not recommend any PC games.

Siren: Blood Curse for the PS3. I've heard it's pretty scary as well.

I don't know what consoles Dead Space is on, but I've heard it's pretty scary. More 'jumpy' scares than the psychological stuff that FEAR had.

Also I find that games are a lot scarier on PC than on consoles, mainly because you're so much closer to the screen so if you're looking for a scare I'd play on PC.

EDIT: Oh yeah and Condemned 1 and 2!

Fatal Frame, any of them. They tend to be pretty scary.

Condemned +1 It isn't too taxing on PC so check out the specs against your machine, you may be able to run it. System Shock 1+2 are a bit older and can be a bit of work to get running in XP Vista and 7, but are the scariest games I've played along with Condemned. Don't get the Condemed sequel it is stupid.

Neither. It's more or less an action shooter that involves zombies. And not racist unless you think killing a black guy is more racist than killing a white guy.

System Shock 2. People have been known to throw their PCs out of the window in fright at this game.

I have never played a game that was scary the slightest, but when it comes to "Horror games" the Silent Hill series is definitely up there, other games I'd recommend are System Shock 2 and the first Condemned.

Games like Dead Space are total bullshit making an action game with jump scares doesn't qualify it as an horror game.

If I wanted something scary, I'd read The Shining.
