Well, I'd love you to tell me how I'm meant to order these games, now that you've just made me smash my laptop to pieces.jebara said:I order you to drop what your doing and get the Ace Attorney series and Ghost Trick, no serioulsy, drop what ever is in your hands and get these games.
Pokemon Platinum should be under £20 by now I'd say, and thats a pretty meaty RPG to sink your teeth into if you're so inclined.rob_simple said:(Ideally, older games I can pick up for buttons now would be preferable.)
You can copy pasta?! You're clearly the hero of time, if not the messiah itself.Exius Xavarus said:FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

It's really bloody easy actually but very enjoyable. Always thought of it like FF Tactics for dum dums though....Furioso said:What he said, with added attention to Pokemon: Conquest. To everyone who whines that they never change up Pokemon, I give you Pokemon + Fire Emblem! (It isn't nearly as hard as Fire Emblem though)wintercoat said:Any of the Ace Attorney games
Any of the Castlevania games, with special mention of Order of Eclessia
Dragon Quest IX
Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced and Advanced 2
Any Fire Emblem game
Ghost Trick - This one gets a special note, as it's a great puzzle game with a surprisingly great story. Must buy
Lock's Quest
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and Devil Survivor 1+2
Any of the Pokemon games, with special mention of Pokemon Conquest
The Professor Layton games
Radiant Historia - one of the best turn based RPGs that you will ever play. The combat is actually fun and intuitive, and the story is excellent to boot
Rune Factory - I personally recommend 1 and 3. 2 is alright, but annoys the fuck out of me because 2/3+ of the game is locked until you have a kid
The Dark Spire
There. I think that's good enough. That should last you a month or five

Probably found it funny because "copy/pasta" wasn't actually a typo. :xSkarKrow said:Mostly joking, maybe 90-10 split on that one. This might be a really dumb question, but what's the jump like from the older Pokemon games (Gold being the last I played) to the newer DS titles?SkarKrow said:Pokemon Platinum should be under £20 by now I'd say, and thats a pretty meaty RPG to sink your teeth into if you're so inclined.rob_simple said:(Ideally, older games I can pick up for buttons now would be preferable.)
Well there are now double, triple and rotation battles added to the mix. Double and rotation being my favourite, Triple is too prone to the wrong order fucking you over for my tastes. They're all fun especially with other human players and open up new alleys for competitive players like me (I don't do tourneys and shit but I do EV train and will battle friends gladly).rob_simple said:This might be a really dumb question, but what's the jump like from the older Pokemon games (Gold being the last I played) to the newer DS titles?SkarKrow said:Pokemon Platinum should be under £20 by now I'd say, and thats a pretty meaty RPG to sink your teeth into if you're so inclined.rob_simple said:(Ideally, older games I can pick up for buttons now would be preferable.)
I've seen some gameplay videos on Youtube and I feel like an old man just because trainers are now using two Pokemon in tandem.
