Okay, i like Three Days Grace, Apocalyptica, and Elliot Minor etc.
Also i know none of those are that similar but could anyone recommend some music related to these bands?
1. I'm not sure if many of you have heard of them...
2. I didn't know where the hell else to post this...
3. This has a lot of potential to become a fail of a thread.

Well the first two names on your short list might not be very similar, but they do have a point of commonality you might want to check out if you haven't already encountered it yourself: Adam Gontier is one of the guest vocalists on Apocalyptica's Worlds Collide album.
Now for things you don't (necessarily) know about - you might consider giving bands like Breaking Benjamin, Nightwish, Escala, or Epica a listen (the first one is a band along the lines of Three Days Grace (sort of), the others are metal bands or string quartets that have points of commonality with Apocalyptica).
Other names worth looking into: Stream of Passion, Delain, Ayreon, Kamelot, and I'll just end this list here for now because I could literally type out entire pages of things I think you might like, but without more data to work with I'm just blindly guessing. So I'll recommend giving those bands a listen, and if you decide you like them and would like me to toss a much bigger list of related acts you way, you can let me know and then I'll bombard you with bands, heh.
Very intense, epic album and more mature and varied than most pure extreme metal bands.
In terms of progressive/romantic metal anyone should also know Opeth.
Devin Townsend - Terria, Ocean Machine, Ziltoid the Omniscient, and anything else
Not related but heavy music. You might need time to get used to it, some songs have an unexpectedly high "pop-rock" tinge and optimism, but after a couple of songs you should be convinced of his genius and authenticity and he might be one of your new favourite artists.
Take a listen to such songs as The Death Of Music, Deep Peace, Hyperdrive, for example.
Not a band or name that's well known or have got a lot of tracks out. But there's this guy on Youtube who does Metal Covers of various video-games that I just stumbled across, so I'll share this with you. I think you might enjoy it, although it's not something you'd play at parties:
Actually, I think I retract my recommendation of Primordial. That was more a special thing of the moment. If you are just getting to know different genres there are probably better bands to start with.
In addition, I would recommend Porcupine Tree to any fan of rock music. In Absentia is a very popular album.
