I don't like how many people want a lot of money just to have a lot of money. The way I see it, all I want money for is the freedom it can bring if you use it right. And spend a lot haha

Yes, getting extra money makes people happier. However, coming into a massive fortune would probably separate you from friends. If you can live like that, you're probably not going to be happy anyway.

Yes, money can buy happiness. Items and stuff are the main thing that makes us happy.

I'm only speaking for myself here, but yes. I would be damn happy if I had a fully paid and souped-up car, a nice house and lots of videogames to boot. Inviting "people" to share it with would only spell disaster.

Well im pretty sure no one has been sad when holding a wad of cash they earned so arguably, in way, sorta money can temporarily give you happiness

Ofc it can (walks away whith a thousand dollar hooker) Now serius answer yes it can beacose if I had money I wouldn't go to school and I wouldn't get a work to earn money cos' I already have money and I could only do what I want whithout needing to get stressed irritated or getting up from bed at 06.00 in the morning.

Happiness is a state of mind. The last time that I saw something corporeal buy something incorporeal it was... wait. never!

however money can buy items; sometimes people; situations; and these can all lead to happiness.
So I suppose; money certainly can make it easier.

No, I don't think so. I'm not materialistic and I do not really think of money as a be-all and end-all despite it's importance in life.

I'm happy with what I have, but I always push my own personal boundaries and limits.

Hi there, obviously fairly new and thought I'd create a topic :)

Money can buy material goods, and get you places that may normally be out of reach.

But my question is, do you think money can ultimately buy happiness?
Not directly but it sure as hell makes life easier and that can only help.

If your idea of happiness involves relaxing under the stars on a saturday night, than you don't need money to do that.

but if your idea of happiness involves buying your girlfriend a necklace, than you need at least some money.

Having a lot of money means you don't have to spend a lot of time doing the shite that makes you unhappy.

You can't literally buy happiness, but having a lot of money certainly enables you to pursue whatever makes you happy.
