I think enjoyment comes down to finding out just which playstyle suits you the best. I always find that Might/Sorcery is by and far my favorite destiny in the game. I got up to Champion level and I'll just say this: Nothing stands a chance in frozen Hell. I hit mobs with Mark of Flame and then proceed to unleash Elemental Fury(Rage? I can't remember which) and immediately detonate Mark of Flame afterward. Whole swathes of Tuatha fell in 5 seconds while I was on my way to the final boss. Also, nothing was so satisfying as wailing on one enemy with a Longsword and at the turn of a dime, whip around to shoot a bolt of lightning into the faces of encroaching foes.SpunkeyMonkey said:Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning is very colourful and fantastical, but it also can be quite tedious, repetitive and boring. However, I did every little quest and some say that if you ignore all the mini-quests, and just stick to the main one and the faction quests that it's quite a good game.
In fact, I'd also like to hear others opinions on KOA:R, and if they found a good way to enjoy it without getting bogged down?
Cool may give those a look (probably will as getting burnt out on RPGs atm) I havent played many platformers recently the last one I played was Alica madness returns which I liked actually come to think of it that was quite colourful for the most part but also not exactly a happy game suppose it seemed to mix colourfulness with dark themes.Eclipse Dragon said:They are platformers in the purest sense. You will be running and jumping and collecting, but the characters are very endearing and the games have a nice sense of humor.Maximum Bert said:How are the Sly cooper games btw been meaning to try them for ages but never got around to it are they platformers or are they a mix?
UUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRR YES this game. Such a good game.Zeckt said:how about Sly Cooper Thieves in time? poor game could use the sale.
Or he could, you know, get the two originals instead, considering they are availible on XBLA pretty cheap, and the ports from N64 are VERY good, and the camera is more easily controlled with the second analog stick instead of the C-Buttons. I've also heard good things about Nuts & Bolts, but I don't dare try it in fear of my 10-year old self time-travelling here and slapping me for tainting my childhood memories.Delerien said:Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts always makes me cry, but i was told it's actually an enjoyable game if you don't know the earlier ones.
