I still want to know what dimension x is :p
I can give you a couple of the answers.
2D is like a drawing, 3D is... well it's 3D, like what we are.
4D is some gimmicky marketing stuff (as far as i can tell :p)

1d is a single direction. So a line without any width or depth, basically.
2d has two directions. So it can have width and length, but not depth.
3d has three directions. So it can have width, length, and depth.
4d theoretically has four directions. It can have width, length, depth, and another direction.

This is like year 2 stuff, dude. Apart from 4d, but no one needs to know that.

"deminsions"
"demeiosn"
"deminsions"
"deminions"

You really can't spell for shit, can you?

It kinda bugs me how everyone refers the the 4th dimension as time. You know that was invented by H G Wells for the novel The Time Machine, right? It doesn't really hold any scientific purpose in all honesty.

If people are talking about spacial dimensions, the fourth dimension should be another spacial dimension. Some scientists actually think we live in a 4d world (just that the 4th spacial dimension is much smaller than the others so we can't see it). I don't understand it at all myself, and I don't remember the link, y'all can google it if you're interested.
Plus, according to some theories, space and time are "kind of the sames thing". A bit like electricity and magnetism. This due to a bunch of facts regarding our concepts of speed :p

If you think about it, time is a complicated issue to discuss because most of what we know about it are conventions that we created ourselves.

The fourth dimension is time my friend, so 3d would be something like us, 4d would be us in time.... get it?

4D is technically not something physical.

Ah, yes, the perils of leaving one's laptop up after consuming mushrooms.

1D=a line
2D=a square
3D=a cube
4D=how long has that cube been there

Basically every extra dimension is another plane of movement you can move in.

I could understand not knowing 4D but the others are children stuff.
