Can we stop beating dead horses?

Internet can we stop collectively beating dead horses? I mean at least the people here on the escapist who I have come to see are at least decently intelligent human beings that understand the concept of decency and politeness. For the most part anyway. So seriously can we just stop beating dead horses? For that matter can we stop beating dead horses with dead horses. There are a plethora of topics that come under fire near constantly and I'm tired of it. I'll list off the ones I can think of.

Matrix sequels
Star Wars prequels
Pirates sequels
Nintendo
Indiana Jones 4
Spider-man 3
Man of Steel
EA
Console wars
PC vs. Consoles

Just to name a few. If I missed some horses that you have seen here or around the internet elsewhere that you would like for people to just stop beating please post them below. The reason I'm sick of this is because some of the beating is unwarranted, some not all, and its just too much negativity. If we respond to anything new from certain things with scorn and derision we are all going to be very angry people and come on no one wants that. Especially around this time of year. So thoughts, horses you're tired of seeing getting beaten to death with other dead horses. Share.

Should add that Mass Effect 3 ending on there. Seriously, people keep bringing it up in topics that have nothing to do with ME3.

Also: Protip: When someone asks "Why was the ending bad?" don't respond with "You don't get it". If you used that for an actual cause, you'd be laughed out of town.

So Anita Sarkeensian just recently came out and said the Mass Effect 3 ending is really sexist.

I think she's living proof that people are still as easy to con out of their money as ever.

We should beat fowls instead. They're softer. Besides, gaming's in a phase, all started because of feminists bringing up issues, which was fine, and then Snarkeesian came. That was not fine; which in turn caused a domino effect that had been welling inside gaming for a whole. Let it pass.
