Things are getting crazy in a hurry. Both the Extra Credits team (And by that I guess I mean James) and The Escapist (And by that I suppose I just mean this Alex fellow) are having an e-shouting match trying to look like the only reasonable one involved here. It's really very damn hard to figure out who is in the wrong when both stories are such stark contrasts, even moreso for the non-lawyers in the audience. What does seem obvious is that this is the result of poor communication.
In that spirit I'm going to avoid making any harsh judgements until some actual facts and proof come to light. The current trend of painting James as a lazy hipster or The Escapist as some kind of evil corporate overlord on shreds of "He-Said-She-Said" bull____ just does not make a lick of sense. So, for my part? No boycotts. No mud flinging. None of that.
