Hi everyone, I'm on a Performing Arts uni course right now that may or may not (depending on how I choose to operate really) require me to be able to edit video footage (even if it doesn't it's still something I'll probably find myself doing) and I've realised that my computer, though awesome in pretty much every other way, does not have any video editing software.
now last year (this being early in my 2nd) my course had a video module, it wasn't compulsory (but my group still scored a 1st) but in it we were taught the ins and outs of Final Cut Pro, which I thought was a great program, thing is, it's freakin' expensive, and after using that I don't wanna just go back to Windows Movie Maker, if that even works on Windows 7 I don't know, and I'm not quite web-savvy enough to want to risk trying to pirate Final Cut Pro, so if anyone has some good alternatives, preferably free, I'd very much appreciate some recommendations
