Ok, I'm not actually asking can you cook a raw turkey, but rather whats the funniest, craziest, or gross thing that has happened over the holidays?

Mine is, one year we wen't to my aunt's for chirstmas, and they bought a "fresh" turkey, and by "fresh" I mean bleeding. Since they didn't know how to cook a bleeding turkey, they stuck it in a pizza cooker. I don't know why they thought this would work, but whatever. It cooked for a couple hours, and then thye pulled it out. I have to say it looked like one from a cooking show or something I mean it was perfect, kinda. We all sat down ready to eat and started serving food, then my uncle went to carve the turkey and then blood went everywhere. I thought it was funny at the time, but others thought it was gross.

I usually don't experience gross things during holidays...

Well, unless your grossly misleading thread title counts...

the craziest thing that happened to me during the holidays was that during thanksgiving my neighbor decided to deep fry a turkey, well he decided to deep fry it while it was still frozen, his yard and all of my yard is now completely charred and the fire almost burnt my house down

The most amazing thing that has ever happened to me during the holidays was no doubt the fact that I made bacon.

I COOKED food. That wasn't processed. Go me.

Let's see. Weird is hard to define, since my family is a tad on the odd side of things.

How about this one Christmas where I woke up, and fell down the stairs to our living room. Then, hearing the commotion, my younger brother in his room ran out to see what the problem was, and fell down the stairs two, landing on my already pain-ridden body. No immediate medical problems, but it was a funny photo for the album.
