I love cooking; and take every chance I can to try something new that won't poison me like everything I usually cook.

Yes. Curries, stir-fries and pasta dishes are my forte, though I can follow recipes easily enough should the need arise ;) I generally enjoy throwing good ingredients together in a pan and serving with rice or pasta - hasn't let me down yet!

I can also make a mean fish cake, lol :D

I'm an okay enough cook. I can make a decent curry and poach salmon, and one of these days I want to try this recipe [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceviche] a shot as soon as I can get my hands on some fresh sea bass.
Hah, for some reason when I saw that link I randomly thought of just that recipe ^_^

OMG that recipe is AWESOME! Made it for my Mum's birthday. Tastes insane, though breaking the salt shell is a ***** XD I had four side-by-side, and finding a place to start cracking the scalding-hot carapace takes time. If you're serving it as part of a meal, allow like 10 mins of salt-cracking time if you're doing four fish - otherwise everything gets a little cold ;)

I'm told that it's easier if you use egg whites instead of water to moisten the salt before you put it on the fish. I haven't tried it myself yet, though.

Hm, that's an idea. Isn't egg normally a binding agent? hah - counter intuitive ftw ;)

I can cook quite a lot of dishes and I make my own recipes. If given a cookbook, I can cook anything in it. Cooking is one of my favourite hobbies.

I can do noodles, anything microwaveable, hot dogs, PROBABLY burgers, and sandwiches. That's about it though.
