I can cook Spaghetti Bologanaise (The foodstuff of GODS), but not as well as I would like to...

...That's all I have to contribute. *Goes back to firing heat rays and drinking blood*

This is the sort of thing I cook.

You been beat, son.

OT: I can cook a bit, although only simple things like pasta and the like, although I do help my mom with cooking dinner for the family pretty often. I actually learned to cook from my old babysitter. I always felt bad that she had to cook for me, so whenever she made me a meal I asked her to teach me how to do it.

I'm no gourmet chef, but i know my way around a kitchen. I learned in school, but the teacher was kinda awful , so i didn't pay too much attention :p

When I was younger and in an awkward proto-feminist stage, I decided that I would never learn to cook because I didn't want to end up as a housewife who had to spend multiple hours a day preparing food for ungrateful children. Admittedly, that's still a fear of mine today, but I've also matured enough to realize that cooking isn't a tool of female oppression (herp derp), it's an art form of its own and a useful life skill.

I still have no personal desire to cook and I eat most of my meals out of boxes, but I definitely admire people who do (whether male or female). Plus my boyfriend seems to be pretty good at cooking salmon, which I'm cool with.

I can cook. I like doing breakfast because it's easier for me. I could make hamburgers and some pasta and stuff like that.

.... .... .... nevermind. I'm not getting a violation again.

Also try my Cola chicken, it's easy, and very tasty.

A very few foods, most of which are some of those family specific recipes, and rather simple ones. So no, not really.

Took cooking in school, had this amazing teacher one year during my last year, we did lots of volunteering and stuff, he taught me to make anything great.

So yes, I can cook, I like to cook my meals everyday, I LOVE BBQing or smoking the shisha pipe, throw the iPhone on random, and cook with whatevers in arms reach.

Did I somehow fail to make it clear that that is not a view I hold anymore, and that it was an opinion influenced by immaturity?
Haha, no you didn't. I'm just silly, but seriously try that chicken...it's awesome....o_O

Yep, I can cook - I like to try most things (cuisines) if I can. I have a few favourite meals, like curry katsu-don and german potato salad with fresh (non-crumbed) spicy schnitzel, or maybe home-made tabbouleh and hummus with flatbread... NOM! I'm hungry now =P

My partner is a great cook, to and we can even *gasp* work well together in the kitchen! So it's a lot of fun coming up with neat meal ideas and seeing if we can a)make it, or b) tailor it specially to us if it's something we know.

We also both like baking, I;m more into cookies and cakes, but he bakes all our bread (he's German, and therefore expects a higher standard of daily wheat-based staple than NZ's markets provide =P)

I love food...so good...*stomach rumbles*

I at least like people to know a few simple pan dishes. You never know when the sensitive infrastructure of modern day civilization will suddenly come to a halt and you have to rely more upon skill rather than a box with heating instructions.

I can cook, but I dont do it too often. I suppose my specialty dish is hamburgers, which I add a dash of liquid smoke and various seasonings to make a nice spicy and smoky flavor, as well as homemade sweet-potato chips. It may be a ***** to chop the sweet potatoes, but damn, you double fry those things, and hit them with a mix of brown and white suger...

*drools*

...Oh sorry, what were we talking about again?

BTW, Captcha: traph but

Easiest one yet, thank God...

Cooking is one of those skills everyone should have. You don't have to be a gourmet about it, but you should at least know a few basic skills and easy meals.

I have worked in restaurants for close to 20 years. Worked at 5 star restaurants to fast food joints and almost every type inbetween. I love to cook. Especially at home. That is my creative outlet.

I grill for the most part, it's quick, easy and produces few dirty dishes. It always surprises me how many people cannot cook beyond a box of Mac and Cheese and how many of those same people watch cooking shows on TV frequently....
