can't be bothered to look for links to other countries.
but yeah, ditto to everyone else, with major emphasis on EVERY WORD.
or rather, what are you planning? ;)
EDIT actually the bottom one was ireland, but i'm FAIRLY SURE it stands all across the UK (espcially since N. Ireland is under similar law as the rest of the UK for the most part)

The government can't deny you an education. If you got expelled from a certain school, you couldn't be expelled nationally.
I disagree. The only way I could see someone getting expelled nationally would be through criminal activity.
Even Juvie has an educational system. Maybe not a good one, but by law it would.
Then it isn't expulsion, it's incarceration. Either you get put in jail or juvie or whatever, it still won't send out a nation wide ban on your schooling.
Whoa, the quoting got a little wonky there.

Back on topic now, If you live in a country with one school then yes. Anyways, I was agreeing with you.

If you get expelled and convicted of some crime, you go to a prison for minors and get your GED (or UK equivalent). However, you are effectively out of the public school system.

Most students that get expelled from school go to a non-public school for the duration of their expulsion or get put into a remedial state-funded school for children in the juvenile correction program.

I believe only if they commit a federal crime.

But I assume they'd still technically be 'educated' in prision.

In America, no. The law requires that all students have access to some form of public education. (At least here in CA).

Yes.

It's called homicide.
Damnit just what I was thinking.
I suppose you could also fake your own death, frame the person, etc. but that would be a lot of effort.

And then again, you wouldn't really be expelled.

On Topic:
Impressive, actually. That a post that is so small can spark so much discussion. Well, looking at the post size - discussion possibility ratio, anyway.

And as I don't live in UK or America, I really don't know for those countries. They tend to have a slight bit of different rules than we do. But I will contribute with what I know from Norway.

In Norway it takes a whole lot to be expelled at all. You can be, of course. But I may be wrong. But I think that if you're expelled once, you're put on a special school, or special lessons for being a "problematic child". So I guess you're only allowed to fuck up once =P

Oh, and if I'm wrong - feel free to correct me

Now that's what I call dramatic!

On-topic, though: I do not think you can be expelled from the entire school system.
