Can You Think Of A Good Alternate Ending To Mirror's Edge?

I finished mirror's edge the other night after buying a budget copy and i found the ending really disapointing. it just seemed a bit generic...

If you can't think of a good one for mirror's edge then just name your game and think of a better ending....borderlands had a poor ending why not try that?

Why not just have her captured a the last moment? Could either keep going with her or make room for a sequal. or is that what actually happened... i dont know...

Um.... The resistance could be like the bad guys and use your info and running could help for terrorists... or something...

Nonono, dont get me wrong, I'm not saying this because I hated the game, but I allways find heroic/sad endings more memorable.

I figure that Metal Gear Solid 4 would have been much better if it had just ended when Snake shot himself. Oh yeah, spoiler warning.

I think Mirror's Edge had a decent ending, but not amazing, and I definitely agreed with Faith and her sister being reunited in the end: call it stereotypical, but I can't see failure as a good story tool in that case.

But you have to give the story credit, considering the lady wasn't even hired to work on it until 60% of the game was already complete. Honestly, these people need to make story a bigger priority...

Something... happens? I don't know, the ending wasn't memorable enough for me to really think of an alternate one. All I remember was her sister being saved, and them destroying the thingy for something.

This is sad, I finished it last week, and I don't remember it.

Exactly how much of the ending are we talking about here? Just the cutscene where Faith saves her sister, or the main meat of the thing (the dialogue that goes on over the ending credits which hints towards the underlying reason behind it all?)

Alternate ending? How about an actual ending? Because what was in the end of Mirror's Edge wasn't an actual end - it was as if someone decided to cut the story in half and never show us the second part. Lame.

The Mirrors Edge ending is probably the worst ending to a game I've seen in the past decade.

You're at the top of a building, owned by the 'bad guys'. The antagonist is taking your sister in a helicopter... for whatever reason, somewhere... A bunch of guards show up behind you, you run forward, jump kick the antagonist out of the helicopter and somehow make it back to the building with your sister (though she almost falls). So they share a moment ontop of the building, the guards from earlier having magically disappeared, and they're still wanted fugitives who are in the middle of a futuristic metropolis, ontop of the largest building which happens to be owned by those who are hunting her. Saving your sister is extremely moot right about now.

Alternative endings? How about her sister was killed early on and all she was getting was revenge in the end, then she gets arrested/killed/jumps off the building. It's not really difficult to think of something better.

An atomic bomb comes out of nowhere and blows everything up. This way, the sequel can be a direct ripoff of Fallout 3, or Borderlands.

Could they have got given it a fucking cliffhanger at all? They didn't even know if it was going to qualify for a sequel.
