Thought so. Yay, cookie!GRoXERs said:Give this man a cookie.Doug said:Only in survival situations. I believe I have been told that cannabilistic animals have the risk of generating new diseases - not sure how, but I recall BSE was linked to that somehow.
Cannibalism (spell it right, guys) has a pretty good chance of resulting in a disease that in humans is called kuru or Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, and which in cows is called bovine spongiform encephalitis or mad cow disease. It was first noticed among the Fore tribe of Papua New Guinea, which were notable cannibals.
So... yeah. If you're starving to death, go for it (it's just like any other meat, though probably higher in toxins since humans eat and expose themselves to a lot of nasty crap) but definitely don't make a habit of it.
See the post quoted above your'sCakes said:I've actually never understood why cannibalism is such a taboo subject. Obviously if you don't actually murder anyone, I don't see why it's wrong. There's no better way to honour the recently deceased than make a delicious meal out of them.
And, no. No it is not. gtfoEdzor said:It's spelled "canibalism", so this thread just fails from the start IMHO...
Besides, canibalism is wrong...
