You all ride moose, instead of driving cars, and the only liquid for sale is maple syrup.

...Does I win?
Should the plural of moose be moose, mooses or meese?

OT: I'm English, so I'm not really ever in a position where I need to know about Canadia, but I do know that it's pretty much America, but with a lot of the bad stuff taken away, and colder.
Though Quebec, I can't think of a place I want to visit less, especially after hearing horror stories from my parents about their week in Quebec a few months before I was born, considering they described it as "America, but populated by the French."

Now I would go on to justify why this is bad, but it would kind of end up as a rant about the French people I have met, and it's A) Not offensive straight off the bat, but could easily be misconstrued as offensive, and B) Not related to the topic at hand, so I'm going to leave that one for later, when there's nobody around, at which point I still won't post it.
To quote a movie " She's a french Canadian, some days she wakes up and she's Canadian, but today she's obviously french, stay out of her way." :p

Ok...there is every kind of landform except tropical rainforest, so there's something for everyone and the drinking age is 18 in Quebec
Actually that landforms is incorrect we DO have tropical rain forest (In BC)

also 90% of our population is within a few hundred Km of the US Border :p
That's not a tropical rainforest. It's just called a rainforest. A tropical rainforest is like the ones in Brazil. Who taught you Canadian geography?

Um... Their current prime minister or whoever's in charge is republican? That guy is also in charge of filling the senate or whatever they have over there? They have more debt per person than America does? Is any of this right?

Actually well played a fairly large part in both World Wars, you know the "storm troopers" from star wars? The Germans made that term up to refer to us because they considered the the biggest bad asses in the allied army for both wars.

Of course the US has us outnumbered and outgunned by almost 100 to 1, so it's not like we can fight as much as a nation :p
Revisionist history at it's finest there folks... But thanks for the laugh.

And oh... let's not pick on the French Canandians - after all, their ancestors were smart enough to leave France.

Speaking from Quebec here:
- We are very advanced in Montreal in the domain of Videogames.
- DRinking age is 18.
- Driving age is 16.
- Hockey is held more important than religion (In Quebec anyway. Go Canadians)
- A LOT of people are bilingual (french/english) (Or even more if they are immigrants)
- The weather is nice when it feels like it (can go to -25 in winter, 30 in summer)
- You can do a lot of activities due to the versatile weather.
- Quebecers are proud of their past.
- Most people are nice. Just cross the border for fun. You'll see what i'm talking about.
- We were the colonisation starting point.

And that's only Quebec!

Cons: The governement. Stephen Harper was basically kissing Bush's a** after each of his decisions. Now that Obama is in place, he is less of an idiot.

At the end of world war II Canada had the world's third biggest navy and airforce. Also, on D-Day we advanced further into normandy than any other allied assault.

I'm a French-Canadian who grew up by montreal my whole life... And I can't blame you... most people are die-hard "english" haters... heck, even when i talk to a waiter or something who's native language is english, I can't avoid having some xenophobic asshole giving me a bad look or be told to speak french.

On the other hand... I plan to come visit jolly old England for a month within the next year! :D

http://forestry.about.com/cs/rainforest/p/rainforest_fact.htm

See

Is There a Topical Rainforest Outside the Tropics?:
Tropical rainforests are not just found in tropical regions, but also in temperate regions like Canada, the United States, and the former Soviet Union. These forests, like any tropical rainforest, receive abundant, year-round rainfall, and are characterized by an enclosed canopy and high species diversity but are without the year-round warmth and sunlight.

I really haven't noticed any major difference between American and Canadian people or culture. At the very least, the social and cultural differences between Canadians and Americans are probably less than the amount of variation within those countries. Montreal is a great party city though.

Canada is where my uncle lives! And his family. With their funny accents. Ho ho.

Anyway, yes, Canada! A nice place, so I'm told. Like the US, but without the crazy extremes.

As for what I know, I know you currently have troops deployed in Afghanistan.
That is true. But we are more like the Cleaning service after the US invasion. Seriously, there's not a years that i can recall where US didn't stir up some shit in the middle-east.

Anyways, we mostly do Humanitarian work. And some of the Soldier i know say it suck because they are forbidden to shoot until told otherwise and are easily confuse with the US troop that invaded. Maybe it was a mistake to give them the Squared, computer design of our uniform. Yes, they were made in Canada.

and anyways, why would the Canadians be on the Dark side?

"The term "storm trooper" was first used by the Germans in the First World War to describe the Canadian troops that they had to fight against. Canadian troops were most feared by the Germans during the First World War, and the German army always prepared for the worst when an attack was spearheaded by the Canadian army.
The term was then used again by Hitler before the Second World War for his army of soldiers when first forming the National Socialist Party. They were his elite troops, and when his infamous Beer Hall Putsch failed, and some of his storm troopers were killed by police, he forced the German people to honour them and salute every time they walked by a memorial plaque dedicated to them.
The term was used a third time by George Lucas in Star Wars as a name for the white-armour-clad soldiers of the evil Empire. Much like the National Socialist storm troopers, they were trained to show no fear or emotion. "

I don't really have the time to get into a long drawn out debate so I'll just use this quote from here :p

Fun fact about Canada from a Canadian, we actually have the most powerful empire on Earth. Nobody knows this because we keep all our serious weapons here and nobody's declared war on us in lord knows how long. Once someoen truly fucks with us, they're doomed.
