I'll go with 'The Chicago Code' or 'Breaking_in' from last year both shows were shaping up to be really good, and were surely finding their groove, only to be canceled by FOX.

John Doe, with Dominic Purcell, only 1 season and it was great :(
Yeah, and the cliffhanger turned out to be a dud. :(

As for my shows, I hated when they cancelled "The Black Donnellys" and "The Good Guys". Damn network executives.

Aaah!! Is that why I can't find Sym-Bionic Titan anymore? *cries* I fell for that show hard! *hisses* Young Justice better not be gone too...

OT: Spider-Man the animated series: He never found Mary Jane! Bull crap!

Spider-Man Unlimited: We didn't find out how he found Mary Jane! And what about the symbiotes? How the hell did they get there? Why did no one explain it?

Spectacular Spider-Man: It was that remake that I thought was pretty solid. Not only did it abruptly end but because of the station it was on, we didn't even see the official ending...

Huntik: Dude, one season? Too many things were left out! The main charrie guy never found his father.

Shaolin Showdown: Cop out ending. That's all...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm aware these are all cartoons so I'll try and mature this up with a live action show...
Titus.
While this isn't a single show, I'd really like to see the DCAU continue. I realize that once you do Justice League Unlimited it's hard to follow, but damn it I want to see more Flash! And Green Arrow! And Steel! And Black Canary, and Huntress, and Green Lantern, [small]and Wonder Woman, and Booster Gold, and...
The X-Files or Star Trek: The Next Generation, my two all time favourite television shows. Or maybe Stargate: Atlantis?
Popular.
Sure it had sappy moments - every teen drama does - but a lot of the time it was just hilariously wacky or deliciously bitchy.
Agreeing with you so hard right now.
Also, Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls. Both had huge potential.
I'd probably bring back shows like: Transformers Animated, Firefly, Teen Titans, Freakazoid, The Spectacular Spiderman, Spiderman the Animated Series, Histeria, Animaniacs, The Angry Beavers, Dead Like Me, Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, Invader Zim, Sym-Bionic Titan, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go...
Yeah, I got a lot of canceled shows I like that I wanna see un-canceled... And yes, the majority of them are cartoons. The worst part is that a lot of these shows were cancelled for the most idiotic of reasons, which is mainly why I despise TV stations/executives with a passion...
Submitted for your approval: The Twilight Zone. Granted, 90% of all Twilight Zone Episodes were nothing more than ham-fisted morality lessons, but the hammy acting and occasionally disturbing material made it one of the best TV shows of the day. As long as they didn't try to "Edge" it up, I think a new Twilight Zone would be very good.
But you know, ever since Futurama came back (and isn't as good as it used to be), I would be hesitant in resurrecting any TV show. Resurrections almost never work out for the best - if any of the original writers come back, they almost inevitably try too hard to recapture the spirit of the old series, and as a result, they almost inevitable create a second rate product.
Freakazoid. Why? Because he was like Deadpool for children.
Actually, I think they were probably aping the Jim Carey movie The Mask more than Deadpool.
Speaking for myself, I don't think I would revive a cancelled series. It just sounds like a bad idea. Most shows only last a certain amount of time, usually after overstaying their welcome. But even the prematurely cancelled shows don't really need to continue. I can't think of a single show that i used to like that could be revived or even rebooted that would be a good idea or that I would watch if they made more of it.
If I were to indulge that idiotic part of my brain that would do such a thing, One I would bring back is Good Eats, even though Alton Brown had only recently discontinued the production of that show. He still had a lot of stuff to cover in "that's another show" which he never got around to. He's likely planning to produce another show at some point, so bringing this dead horse back is a bad idea.
If you want to see the real darkness that resides within my soul, consider a revival of the following:
Yes, it's the Misfits of Science. Dean Martin's son (now deceased) plays a scientist who specializes in weird crap, with his partner played by the late Kevin Peter "The Predator" Hall as a tall black guy who can shrink to a few inches in height, a "cool" Fonzie-esque guy with electrical powers and pre-leatherface Courtney Cox as a moody chick with psychic powers. They fight crime, or at least stop other weird science types while driving around in an ice cream truck. How is this not a good idea for a television show?
Mary Shelley's Frankenhole is on hiatus right now. That would suck if it was canceled but hey man what can you do? Oh yeah, WATCH IT! Dino Stamatopoulos is a very creative man and no one seems to care.
Oh and I was/still am fucking pissed about Code Monkeys:
Sit Down Shut Up.
Great animated show that contained a few cast members of arrested development and was pretty clever to boot. Just a shame it was advertised so poorly. I guess it got better ratings on comedy central but this deserved to take at least one season from the trainwreak that is family guy.
Also Code Monkeys
this clip does not do the show justice but it's good for a chuckle.
Dead Like Me. It would work if the TV Movie was declared non-canon.
There was a Dead Like Me Movie? But yea, this show was fun, dissapointed when i found out it was cancelled.
I kinda want them to at least give Flashforward a proper ending, that whole one series end with a twist and get cancelled was fucking annoying.
Nascar Racers. They were racing in Nascars with thrusters and stuff, it was incredible.
