Thrill Kill!

The innovative 4-way 3D fighting game for the Playstation, set in hell, with such characters as a psychotic doctor, a psychotic midget, a psychotic dominatrix, a psychotic hillbilly cannibal, a psychotic psychotic, and a psychotic gorilla-esque man-beast! It was to be the most controversial game since Mortal Kombat, and was as ludicrously bloody and gratuitously violent as you can imagine.

Unfortunately, the anticipated controversey got the better of the publisher, and the game was scrapped, gutted, repainted and released as a disappointing fighting game starring the Wu-Tang clan.
No, it was released then taken off the shelves. I had a burned copy of Thrill Kill for PSone, and as different as it was, it was a terrible game.

I can even name the characters if want proof:

Dr. Faustus (a mad doctor with a bear trap for a mouth), Cleetus (a cannibal that uses a leg for a weapon), Mammoth (a gigantic beast), Imp (a midget on stilts), Oddball (a asylum escapee with no arms), Tormentor (a some guy with a chain whip), Violet (a contortionist), and lastly a dominatrix girl with a caddle prod.. Can;t remember her name.

EDIT: my mistake. I wasn't released officially in stores. The game is avaiable over the internet because the developers were frustrated a near finished game was canceled.

Picassio. I am not sure of the spelling but it was a Dreamcast game where you rob artworks from the best galleries and museums in the world culminating in stealing the Mona Lisa from the Louvre.

Psi Ops 2. story was stupid but it was fun popping heads and with the tools and tech they have now I know they could do something awesome with GeoMod or similar engines.

Some games, for whatever reason, get cancelled (or get a complete redesign).

What are some cancelled games you would have liked to play? This includes versions of games that got a complete redesign or games that appear to be cancelled.
The rest of the Advent Trilogy.

Advent Rising, while a mediocre looking 3rd person action game, wasn't that bad, and the story was pretty interesting. But due to "disappointing" sales of the game, they never made parts 2 and 3. The physics for its time weren't bad and the powers fun to use (beating aliens to death against a wall or floor with telekinesis doesn't get old). Being able to dual-wield any 2 guns in the game was hilarious too (Dual Machine Guns? Sure. Dual Missile Launchers? Heck yes).

It took me ages to even get the PC version, since it was never really sold in Europe.
