Cannibalism

I was just wandering, what do you guys think about cannibalism? Do you think its immoral? Do you think we should just leave it to the zombies? Do you think its . . . delicious?

Well, I've never been a fan of murdering one of my own species, yet alone eating them. Besides, I'd probably never be able to cook them right.

I'm rather uncomfortable about the idea of someone eating someone else, unless it was a matter of survival, and even then it would be morally questionable.

If you're in a life-or-death scenario and someone's dead or well on their way, I don't see the problem with it. After all, the human body is a better way to get needed nutrients than a chicken leg due to us being made of what we need.

To be honest unless its a matter of survival there are few things that you can do that are worse than killing and eating people, and even if it was a survival situation I don't know if I would have the stomach to eat one of my partners.

If I remember my Grade 10 science, humans are too far up on the trophic level to provide much energy transferrance. In other words, it won't keep you full for long at all. I'd much rather eat grass.

On a related note, eating a human brain can make you really sick and even kill you. Apparently the human digestive system doesn't do to well with the enzymes that make up human brain tissue and cerebral fluid.

However I think thats the only thing I wouldn't kill just to eat, everything else I kill I eat, but I dont know if I could kill another human just for food. Only self defence.
