If what you are saying is true, then they probably have just sent the wrong code to me. But my console wasn't accepting the one I was given, claiming it was for a male hoody for a male avatar.Satsuki666 said:Nope they did not need to because you can get the hoodie for both male and female avatars. Hence there not being any misadvertising going on just a silly consumer.Abandon4093 said:No she didn't.
Her avatar can't use the hoody, so she in effect never got her hoody.
I don't see how you can argue otherwise.
Unless they made it perfectly clear that only male avatars could use the hoody then it wasn't advertised correctly, sooooo, misadvertisment.
I appreciate the comments on this and I have emailed Amazon.
I'm not saying that Amazon or Ubisoft are being sexist, not at all. I do agree with most posts here that a silly mistake has been made somewhere. And when I accused Amazon of misadvertising, I did not mean to sound dramatic. I'm not going to sue anyone! Lol
I just thought this situation quite ridiculous and funny and wanted to share it. Moreover the message my Xbox gave me. It also suggested a way around the problem: "You may wish to share your code with a friend." So my friend can get a hoody and I'll be without. Sad time.
