Cant...stop...having...fun.
too...much...dragon age.
must...talk...like...this.

Ok enough of that.
Right now im addicted to dragon age.
Its one of those games I love because it is LOOOOOOOOOONG.
It takes me weeks, or months to finish because I take my sweet time with it and do EVERYTHING.

The last game that declared me legally dead was fallout 3, A game that I have married, bought a house with, and now we are planning to have sequels.

I would like to know what games have done this terrible thing to you.
Which game has force you to stay and play, even though you had to go to the bathroom.
Ill make sure they come to justice...after playing them.

Oblivion to a big degree.
But mostly: Baldur's Gate. I've been playing since '97, and haven't stopped. It's the only game I always install on any new machine I get. The BG saga is freaking sweet, and it has devoured my time.

But Dragon Age is looking like it'll be the same.
I'm loving this game.

I'm loving Dragon Age right now too. I'm really excited to give it another play through with a different character too (even though I'm only about 40 hours into my first character).

When I zoomed out to the classic over-head RPG view from Balder's Gate, Icewind Dale, Diablo, etc... I knew I was in love.

Each iteration of Football Manager does that for me. I have lost weeks of my life to those games.

FM2010 will get getting opened up at the weekend :)

Honestly, I must have played in the high thousands of hours in Oblivion

My current Character (9th)

Has 56 hours under his belt.
I've mastered like 6 skills, and completed around 18 quests, and am Silencer in the DB

Thats a very small percentage of the game that I have completed.

I'm going to have to second Fallout 3. It's such a wildly different game depending on your choices - it's taken me 2 months to complete pretty much everything with one character and now I'm going round again. I'm thinking a pure evil melee specialist, bring on the decapitations!

I've been through the Fallout 3 addiction and sadly WoW as well. Back in the day it was FF7- I must have beaten that game 3 or 4 times at about 40+ hours each run. I never got into Oblivion, but that could be due to the fact that I played Fallout first (which, whether you admit it or not, is just an improved, futuristic version of Oblivion with guns.) I'd say Bethesda needs to do some real work, but the swimming pool of money they have in their office says they're doing something right.

Ugh... how you could spend more than 10 minutes with Resistance: Fall of Man is beyond me.... I thought it was total ass :).

The original Command & Conquer Red Alert. That game is the only reason I still use Windows XP.

I've become extremely similar to the dudes in this thread: http://daforums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=703863&forum=145&sp=0 (Possible spoilers, open at your own risk).

I am such a nerd...

Damn you, Dragon Age! Damn you, Bioware character development team! You've made me into something...different

I believe thats the point.

And I have yet to be properly hooked to a game, but the closest would probably be Fable: The Lost Chapters. I'm starting to lose count of how many saves I have racked up for both PC and Xbox.
