can't unlock recon armor because of msn

Ok, so I did all vidmaster achievements, so the only thing that was left to do, was creating a account to bungie.net.
But I can't link my gamertag to my account, because my gt doesn't have msn and I can't seem to find a way to put it there.
Can someone help please! :'(
