Yet somehow they still charge like $6 for 5. I was broke as a kid when I used to buy them :/

Given the prototype seems to be at least 1/4" thick, I don't think in accuracy you can call it a "card". I have an MP3/video player that's thinner than that, though admittedly without the built-in speaker.

I think what they have in Yugioh Zexal is the only thing that is possible in our lifetime, IE. Augumented reality duels.

That is a bit too fat to be a card. Im not familiar with how the sport cards are sold, but wouldn't you be able to tell if a pack has the video card. Since you know, its as think as 20 normal cardboard cards...

no you just pad all the packs with extra cardboard so they are all the same thickness.

While it's an interesting technology to apply to collectible cards, I think the full potential of it won't be realized until it comes to strategic card games. Sure, Magic: The Gathering is fun now, but imagine how much more fun it would be if you could watch your zombies kick the crap out of elves in Hi-Def.

Agreed. Because, as everyone knows, card games are serious business.
