Anyways, I recommend:

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (Don't listen to daemon37, he lies!!!!)
Persona 3 Portable (Get this! Get this NOW!)
Guilty Gear Accent Core

That's a pretty sweet list already, but you'll need to grab Persona 3, and Ys Seven is actually good as well. Plus there are several decent classics you can grab on PSN.

They have Persona 3 on PSP? Hm...I've been meaning to pick that one up for PS2. Which would suggest as the better one?

P3P is superior in every way except it doesn't contain the animated cutscenes.

Frankly I thought Peace Walker was the only good game the PSP has ever had. But you didn't ask my opinion.

Don't forget, all the PS1 games you can buy off the online store can be played on PSP, too.

I don't care about any of the main characters, the story is fairly boring, and the gameplay is repetitive and bland.

I did like FF7, but I'm no superfan. I think you have to be one to put up with games like this and Dirge of Cerebus. They're just too... mediocre. Nothing special about them.
