Lets skip the pie in the sky cars we will never own and look at something very new and a bit more affordable.

The Alfa Mito

The thing looks amazing. I am actually torn, do I trade the R32 in for something that looks this good but I have no idea how reliable it is or how well it drives or do I stick with something that works, goes like stink and looks pretty good....
hahaha. So much for affordable. thats the concept. the actuall car is far less sleek.

as for me...

This happens to me whenever I see an Audi of any model. Specifically a TT. Or that sportback concept they showed off. Mmmmm...

Dodge '58 Custom Royal.

I used to own one, and it was cool. Big, grunty, and all-American.
Fuck yeah!

Hmmmm maybe, I saw a 360 modena (sp) today and it sounded amazing, best sounding car i've heard is either Porsche flat six or the Corvette Z06. Strange feelings indeed, though not like crotch rockets.
Nothing quite like a big-block Pushrod V-8 to start the day... I should know, I drive a Pushrod V-8 every day, and I will NEVER go back to a four cylinder again. I used to live in Los Angeles, and some weekends we would go down to Laguna Beach and spend hours watching the cars go by. While I agree that a Modena is a beautiful car, the Murcielago has a so much more MANLY sound to it, while the Modena's engine is just a little to high-pitched for my taste. Hell, the Acura NSeX (NSX for those of you who don't know...) has a throatier rumble than a Modena. But that is a matter of taste. Personally, the first thing I am going to do when I get my car is put a new Magnaflow Exhaust on it. (I have ALWAYS put Magnaflow exhaust on my vehicles, it is just a bit of a habit for me by now.)
Yeah the 360 and 430 isn't a "manly" sound more of a wail kind of like the BMW V8 (new M3) engines reving to 8500 RPMS its ungodly. I havn't heard a Murcielago but I did see a few gallardos (sp) at road atlanta very subdued sounding. We have an NSX for sale at our local honda dealer, 230,000 miles on it. Must be reliable....
EDIT: disjointed paragraph I know but not gonna fix it.
