It's not the fact that he died that's the subject of concern, it's the nature of the death.

Turns out he was still corrupting people from prison, pulling government strings to get his daughter to a prestigious private school while he was gone. People start asking questions, and suddenly he turns up dead.

Even though he's supposed to be guarded 24/7.

There's something bigger afoot, and Williams is no small name in Oz. After all, the second most watched show here is all about him.

So yeah. Suspicious events are suspicious.
Ah, well intrigue is always interesting. But still, meeh, it doesn't affect me personally, thus I am not that bothered by it. Now I'm curious though, already imagining a huge covert operation with the goal of killing him.

What a good use of tax money.

You all take so much of interest in a criminal? Is the show like the Osbournes or something?

It's nothing new, a criminal pulls strings in government and the police, then gets killed in prison. Maybe somebody turned the tables on him and got one of the people guarding him, to kill him, even then it's still not a big deal.

Unless this guy was some kind of V character then I still don't see the big deal.

Were did this phrasing come from, it's annoying as hell. Suspicious events aren't going to trustful.

Well here's a note to little boys who see a future in crime.
Jail isn't all sunshine and lollipops.

Being Australian I've already heard about this, why are we glorifying a convicted criminal?

That was my first thought and then my second thought was "Carl "The Truth" Williams? Didn't Mike Tyson knock him out in the 80s?"

(then just for kicks I went to boxrec.com and saw that indeed Mike Tyson knocked out Carl "The Truth" Williams at 1:33 of the first round on July 21, 1989. Tyson ran his record to 37 (33)-0. Tyson's next opponent? James "Buster" Douglas.)

it was bound to happen sooner or later i mean do people really last a 30 year prison sentence in a high security prison with everyone knowing what they did and their story.

*sigh* sure a father of a child was killed but he did bad things.

not a hero of mine and i dont really pity him.

not trying to be mean

A guy who trafficked drugs and killed 3 underworld figure to, apparently, further his own position dies in prison. Why, exactly, should we care?
This pretty much.

Did you cry over Pablo Escobar, too?
