I'm not laughing.

Cars is still easily the weakest Pixar movie, but a bad movie by Pixar's standards still stands head-and-shoulders above most of the competition.

But by now, it's pretty clear that Pixar is basically being forced to make these movies at gunpoint because merchandising.

This is a trailer for a spin off video game. The graphics are... not up to the standard of the previous gen.

Odd how a Disney film tie-in game is being made by WB Games. More surprise is to see a movie game on a home console. Most of them end up being awful mobile games this gen, usually some Clash of Clans knock off.

I can see it. Racing games are fun. Kids like Pixar. Pixar has car characters. Kids get to race as Pixar characters.

My Pixar-crazed friend agrees that he understands how Cars came to be successful and it is better than most other similar attempts, but admits he never would watch it again.
