Angry Beavers
Hey Arnold
Batman
Samurai Jack
Original Doug (they made a terrible older version for ABC.)
Detective Conan (yeah I stayed up late over summer as a kid)

Bagpuss gave a big yawn, and settled down to sleep,
And when Bagpuss was asleep,
All his friends fell asleep too.
The mice were ornaments on the mouse organ.
Gabriel and Madeleine were just dolls.
Professor Yaffle was just a carved wooden bookend in the shape of a woodpecker.
Even Bagpuss himself, once he was asleep,
was just an old, saggy cloth cat,
Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams,
But Emily loved him.

Oliver Postgate, you were a giant amongst men, and we shall miss you.

/salute

So many of so many good shows. Dexter, Spider, X-men, Ed Edd Eddy, The original Digimon series... tears are welling up, and I fear for my children if Spongebob is what they have now

Rugrats. Not only was it cute, but it- and here's a shock- openly embraced Jewish culture.

Surprising, I know.

I usually consider myself an 80s kid since I was born in 1988 and grew up with an NES and occasionally using an Apple II at school, and accordingly some of the shows I liked growing up were reruns from the late 80s and early 90s. At any rate, I miss the Angry Beavers ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angry_Beavers linked for ridiculousness of it getting canceled), Rocko's Modern Life, and Pinky and the Brain, and most of Dexter's Lab. Tiny Toons was great but I get the feeling they about all they could with it and much more would have been stretching it. Also Animaniacs, while popular and admittedly pretty good, was pretty hit-or-miss for me, and almost the same thing goes for Courage the Cowardly Dog, although it was more consistent (not necessarily a good thing) and IMHO good, and better, more of the time. I'm really happy Futurama is coming back. I also miss a few cartoons from when I was 12-16 for very different reasons (Totally Spies, Kim Possible, and Winx >_>).

Tom & Jerry and Scoobie Doo, we had some great times, but as I bury you for the 37th time, I entreat thee: please, please stay dead - especially your over-commercialized modern remakes.

Light a candle, you say? I'm not going to.

*gets to the top of a lighthouse, drops a fuckton of logs, and lights 'em up*

There. I just put a lighthouse on fire. Biggest candle you'll ever see.

I would like to say goodbye to Angry Beavers (incredibly hilarious), Hey Arnold (incredibly wise), and Megas XLR (incredibly awesome). Oh, how i miss them...

R.I.P. Rugrats, you were my first cartoon
R.I.P. The Tick, you taught me that sanity is a one trick pony[footnote]"Because that's all you get, one trick: rational thinking, but when you are good and crazy, the sky's the limit!"[/footnote]
R.I.P. Samuri jack, we had an odd relationship but we made it through
R.I.P. Jonny Bravo, your quirkiness is lost on today's youth but still shines like a gem.

Good bye Ren and Stimpy... your adult off the wall humor and randomly messed up animation spawned a 20 year period of lame rip off like Cow and Chicken, Tex Avery, Sponge bob retard no talent and hundreds of others.

Animaniacs we knew you well and WB will not release the last season five because they figured out most the last shows were making fun of WB and the amazingly moronic and short lived Histeria which tried to take the cabbage humping green peace views of tiny tunes, your humor to teach kids things, with lame Elmyra clones anda retarded screaming kid, as well as the hip roller blading black girl calling 1790's slavers bad people... rest well know you were stolen to the max.

Dungeons and Dragons, ahh the 1st episode panty shot of the theif jumping on a horse, the hordes of undead you freaked out loser 70's parents as best as you could.

Turbo Teen. Burn in hell you speedracer, Ramna one half bastard child.

Staurday Supercade. You gave Mario his first cartoon, and even one to Q-bert and Frogger...and to audiences to young to have mind altering drugs. I salute you.

Goodbye Cartoon Cartoons. I'll miss you all. At least Ed Edd n Eddy got a finale of the grandest kind. Adios Toonami, I'll visit you among the stars, where you belong.
