So here's a thing..what kind of artist, band, comic etc...would you like to see as a cartoon?

Personally i would like to see various cartoon types that involve the metal group GWAR.

I could see it being a kind of anime based on what they do with there stage shows. It would even be funny for there to be a hentai for a couple of them namely Oderus Urungus, Balsac and Beefcake the Mighty.

Everyone else share your thoughts.

Well the Aquabats have their Super Show!

While it's not animated it still has that same awesome Saturday morning cartoon feel I missed from when I was a kid.

Final Fantasy - Where each of the most popular games are translated into a season of the series. Personally, I'd love to see this happen with FF4 and FF6. I'm sure FF7 fans wouldn't mind either.

I'm not sure that they'd be able to fit the entire of one of the older Final Fantasies- even with only the story parts- into a single season of a cartoon, but yeah, that would be pretty awesome. I'll put my vote for this as well.

GWAR would be cool. Even though I most def would not want so see a hentai of 'em. The thought alone is mildly traumatizing.

I'd like to see more adult remakes of the Gargoyles and 90's X-Men.

I'd like to see a cartoon with a medieval-fantasy setting lacking voice actors for the main characters but each episode is narrated through song by Dream Evil.

The Bionicles toylines should have gotten their own animated series. Sure the films were alright but they had a rich lore within the franchise which would be awesome being made in television form.

OP: I would love to see The Gwartoon! Honestly though I'd have liked to see it in a sort of 80's style; stuffed to bursting with cheesiness. It would have also been great as an early-90's gross-out cartoon of course but that seems a bit obvious.

---

I want to see Disney do with their core line-up (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pete, etc) what Warner Brothers did with theirs ie; a cartoon about how Mickey and the gang are living and getting along with life in the here-and-now. Keep Goofy and Max living next door to Pete and his family and maybe have Mickey living on Pete's other side kind of like how Squidward is between Spongebob and Patrick. As for Donald, have him and Daisy living together. Bring Uncle Scrooge into the mix from time-to-time and drop hints that Darkwing is still hanging around somewhere or, better yet reboot Darkwing Duck! I loved the old Mickey Mouse cartoons, I liked them more than some Tom and Jerry and it just sucks that Disney seems to have given up on marketing them to an audience old enough to form complete sentences.

I have a couple:

The Punisher. It's never going to be made right, but it would be awesome to make an M rated cartoon like the Spawn one HBO had.

InFAMOUS would make for an interesting series. Basically, for the series, it would be an alternate universe where Cole does not order the Armageddon special and opted for a middle option where Conduits are activated but not at the cost all the Humans, one that the game could not give you. Moral Choice and All that.

A Boy and His Blob would make for an excellent 65 episode series. Its simple premise needs to be expanded on a little bit, but it could work. Add about 14-20 more people in that world, put in a few more aliens bad guys, ones that do not have Blob's limitations, and .

Also, I have a few that I want to see new seasons:

Gargoyles. Not really interested in the 1994 storyline because it is fairly complete, but expand other concepts in that universe. In addition to the three that Greg Weissman wanted to do, 2198, Medieval, and Brooklyn being Lost in Time, there are so many ways the story can go. After Goliath, Bronx, Angela, and Elisa left Avalon, they went through a lot of places that were essentially spin off fodder. CulChulain, Dingo, New Olympians, Sentinel, and the two panthers in Africa could easily have 65 episode series, especially considering that the Pack, Xanatos, and Oberon's Children, are still around. Beyond that, there is that whole Illuminati storyline still floating around.

Wolverine and the X-Men could have had a few more seasons beyond the Age of Apocalypse storyline. Old Man Logan might work, as well as a Here Comes Tomorrow storyline. Beyond that there might be one where the Brood took over, one cause by that sentient virus John Wraith, and a few that I can't even think of. It would have been fun.

I have been doing some rough story boards and might make a rough pilot for exactly that for my final year of school. If things go well enough I might pitch the idea to Marvel.

I want to see a modern relaunch of "Centurions."

Every other major 80's toy-driven series has been remade. Why do they get left out?!

That is the best goddamn thing I've heard all week. You sir deserve a pizza trophy. The fact that there are lego shows based off of series right now that aren't bionicle only make it that much more of a tease.

I would love to see it if it is ever produced.

I can do you one better. I've written a treatment for 3 Punisher animated movies. First one is called War Journal, which is the origin story. Second one is Suicide Run, where he escalates the violence and takes out the New York crime families. The third one is called Welcome Back, set a year after the second one and he must return to take care of some loose ends, as well as a trio of vigilantes inspired by him.

I have been sitting on them because Marvel and Disney are not interested in unsolicited projects right now.

That sounds really cool actually it is really awesome to see somebody as interested as I am hell even more so. I thought it was really interesting how the Punisher's identity unlikely most hero's (if you can call him that) have secret identity's while everyone knows exactly who he is. I thought it would be really interesting to approach him really early on in his career so nobody knows who he is and let him play more of a background character as the mob press and police all try to figure out who he is and why he is doing what he is doing.

I'd murder a kitten to see the Legacy of Kain story made into a miniseries animated by the Ergo Proxy team.

The Elder God could be voiced by Jeremy Irons.

There was a Final Fantasy anime back in 2001, some think it was great and did a huge service to the FF brand while others pretend it dosen't exist. And there was the Anime that took place a century after FFV a few years before that.

OT: A reboot of Swat Kats. Think Top Gun meets Batman: TAS.

Team Fortress 2. Trust me, it's already a cartoon, ain't it?

Draft for an episode: The Administrator decides to check on the RED-team's ability to cope with change, and thus sabotage their usual loadout. Heavy gets a babygun, the Spy gets a cloak that plays Caramelldansen while active, the Medic's device is exchanged for a leafblower, the Engineer may only erect diaper changing stations, Pyro gets a fireextinguisher, Demoman is only given cherrybombs and water, the Sniper's gun only works once he puts it up someone's ear, Soldier is equipped only with flowers and the Scout is handcuffed to a supermarket trolley filled with rocks.
"Fight to the death!"
