If you could turn a video game into a children's cartoon, what would you pick? (INB4 Pokemon)

I'm talking about good old fashioned crap, cheesy, Saturday Morning cartoons, where the heroes win and then explain the moral of the episode to the viewers, while the villains shake their fists and yell "I'll get you next time!"

Personally, I choose Mass Effect. Shepard and his rag-tag bunch of misfits travel throughout the galaxy in the Normandy, righting wrongs, helping the helpless and defeating the treacherous Saren and his army of robots. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about accepting people and working together.

Mortal Kombat. In one episode, Sub-Zero learns the value of friendship. Oh wait, that *actually* happened.

I choose... the Baldur's Gate series. The first episode would start with the intro of the first game, the confrontation on the rooftop between Sarevok and the unnamed man. Sarevok would hug him too hard, causing him to need to go to the hospital.

And that's what the whole plot would be about. The villains would hug people too hard, causing them mild physical discomfort at best and crushing their ribs into a fine powder at worst.

I would like to point out that they did that with Mario, Wing Commander, Zelda, and Pokemon, and they were all crap.

And the Tak "games". Never played them, but they somehow made it to the small screen.

For me, it's Portal: GLaDOS would be the up-beat narrator, who talks to the screen! (You know, "Where's Chell? Help Mr. Turret find her! Can you see her, kids?" And Chell is obvioustly hiding behind a Weighted Companion Cube.)

Ooh! And there will be some games in there too, like singing a nursery rhyme about the cake is a lie; hang on, I've got one:

Ooh! How we love our Companion Cube!
It came to me through a plastic tube!
With its colours of silver and pink,
I take it to the icing rink! (YOU think of something better)

.hack tried that...and well...it...it...just sucked, you remember the anime "legend of the Twilight" and guess what, because toonami got hold of Sign, and since at the END it has An Sonji (AKA Tsukasa's pc) and Suberu's PC become "Lovers" it didnt show the last episodes when we found Tsukasa was REALLY a girl in real life
