I'd say Christina Hendricks, if only because she is to me what Nathan Fillion is to most geeks in that they should both be in everything regardless of whether or not it'd work.

You know what, speaking of Fillion, I'd suggest Morena Baccarin:

A couple of feet taller, green and more muscular and I think she's perfect for it.

She-Hulk had been (at least lately) as a comedy character. Sure, she can punch bad guys but it's more about all the drama of being a green lawyer in a marvel universe while everyone assumes that you fucked the Juggernaut for some reason.

All in all it would make a better lawyer tv show.
Actually, yeah...why do superpowered poeople have to go fight/cause crime? Why can't they get real jobs?

I hate to say it, but if the she-hulk character is anything like what I know of the male counterpart, I can't think of a single woman I hate badly enough to suggest for the role.
She-Hulk is the woman's superhero persona. She keeps her mind, unlike The Hulk. And she's pretty smart too (she's a lawyer after all)

Perfect Match to me. You'd have to add the extra muscles via CGI though,
Why? why CGI?
Do what they did with the 300 movie and put her on an insane training routine 9-12 months before the movie is to start filming.

Otherwise I think the match is good but she's a bit cute for the role?
Super muscular women aren't considered that attractive, I hate to say.

And when has She-Hulk ever been muscular to begin with? She always just looked like a big, green woman; You could just take a random sexy actress, bodypaint her green, and use forced perspective to enlarge her like they did with the humans vs. hobbits in Lord of the Rings.

But let's hope the don't make a She-Hulk movie at all.

Oh lord....She-Hulk....*facepalm*

I think it kind of defeats the purpose of The Hulk to be honest. The point of The Hulk is learning to control your animal instincts and rage (the plotline of everything ever involving The Hulk ever) and this....just isn't a problem with She-Hulk. She's just a green body-builder. There isn't any depth or internal conflict with the character. Its just a stupid looking gender-swap.

If we want a strong, empowered woman lead character, then we need to get a good revival of Wonder Woman.
In fairnes to her,s he meant to be more goofy and jokey, and those type of stories can be good too. I really hope nobody makes a movie of her as I can't see it working, but the core concept is cool.

It does depend on who's writing for her character, but it is, as mentioned, mostly goofy.

Keep in mind, it is a hypothetical question, if at all, the chances of her getting a movie are slim.

That does work. Can she act though? Haven't heard of her before.

Might I suggest Jaimie Alexander from Thor?
Well, she's already had a role in a Marvel movie. If they'd want to do crossovers, it could be problematic.

Kristanna Loken?
Well, she is tall, but her hair color is blonde. It would be like the Jessica-Alba-as-Blonde-Susan-Storm-effect, in reverse.

Lisa Cross, she's got the muscle and she's kinda cute.

I'd say Beth Phoenix easily looks the part.

Unless she is flexing she looks more or less like a tall green woman, a body builder would be overkill.
ThePenguinKnight expressed it better than I could.

You could go in a similiar direction with Black Widow, she's only there so they'd have some female character in the team. However I think She-Hulk is a character that, as a lawyer, could have potential in the right hands. Her character seems to provide a better scaffold to build on/ flesh out than the Hulk can because she's directly in contact with humans due to the line of her work. Which, yes, can set the stage for quirky moments, like a crushed office desk or generally trouble at her workplace. But if it's done right, She-Hulk could set a stage for how far a superpowered human can go before she has to set the line that seperates her personal feelings towards clients or a very sensitive case.

Funny enough, wasn't the new Wonder Woman slated to be a lawyer? I'm not sure on that.

Ok, you're right, I'll take back the CGI statement. I only brought it up because of how they made Chris Evans a skinny guy in Captain America and thought that the reverse would work too.

Mylene Jampanoi is quite cute, but that's why I thought it worked. She wouldn't be overlooked by the general audience as much as a big breasted or overly muscular female role. She'd be down-to-earth, but still interesting enough for average cinema goers from the get-go. People would invest interest in how she'd progress to cope with, what I'd actually see as more of a disability than a blessing.

Tell me this, if you had such abilities, can you imagine sitting at a desk day in and day out crunching numbers for an accounting office? The whole hero vs villain spiel might not be the answer, but I for one can barely stand a "real job" as it is, if given another option...

Why is no-one listening to me?! Lou Ferrigno dammit! :p

Ok I'll be serious now; no-one. No-one should be cast as She-Hulk as a She-Hulk movie is a terrible idea. I think even Marvel knows that cause this movie would be a guaranteed flop.
