What do you play when you're not FreeFlow(tm) punching crims in Arkham City, or when shouting Dragon Priests of the sides of mountains?

On my iPhone I have the pretty standard obligatory cheap games - Angry Birds and so on, however I also picked up the conversion of the tabletop/tile game Carcassonne and it looks and plays beautifully. Even though I have the physical version of the game (with all the expansions, which the iOS version currently lacks), I have been sinking a lot of casual time into it - especially since you can play your friends remotely (or strangers if you are so inclined!)

I was initially skeptical when I saw it had been converted to a video game, but it really works well!

What do you play on your mobile device? (iPhone/iPad/Android/ etc). I'm not sure I should include the DS here - I'm really looking at games that you can pick up for between $1 and $5, even though the DS counts as a mobile gaming platform.

Recommend something good!

I play Angry Fish. Sure, it's on the 360 but it's still a "casual" game as it's pretty much Angry Birds, just reskinned. Birds are now fish and the pigs are now cats.

All I've got is Fruit Ninja and Words With Friends (on Android). Fruit Ninja doesn't get played much anymore but my wife and I almost always have a Words With Friends game up and running for when we're both bored at work :p

I've got tons of games on my iPod, and even more sitting in iTunes in general. Over of a quarter of the games I have were free, and I'm happy to live in a world where such a thing is possible.

Lately my main addictions have been Squids, Where's My Water and Princess Punt.

Of course I have the big ones like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, etc. etc.

tbh my iPod Touch is now my favorite gaming system. The variety is incredible and the prices can't be beat lol

I have Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, iSlash, PvZ, Dactyl, 0.02s PRO and a few others. However even the summation of their parts lacks the depth and complexity that even the PC games released in the 90s had so I only really play them on the train or when the internet is down and I can't log into Steam.

Well, complexity isn't necessarily a focus of such games - which is the point.

Simple games, especially with short levels or natural breaks (like turns in scrabble, or playing tiles out, or an Angry Birds level etc) work well.
