Cat tails...

I don't like cats. They suck.

Sometimes. Though my friend's cat though. I dont own cats, Id i got anything I'd get a dog. A nice big chocolate or black lab (I just dont like the way yellow labs look or white ones when they have that streak of yellow down their spine. Plus white hair is harder to hide when it sheds on furniture).

But yeah, his does when I stomp my feet really loud behind it. It also jumps which is kinda funny. Though it hates me and stays away from me. Cant imagine why X3.

A cat fluffing its tail is a good sign to back off and stop what you are doing. Except for one of the rescued cats I live with, it is a bit developmentally slow and fluffs when it is scared, or happy, or sad, or has a treat or is being petted or because OMG the sky is blue. Silly thing. Mostly it should be respected as a fear response.

And nope, cats are only aloof disinterested and don't much care about their owner if they are routinely tossed outside 23 hours a day or otherwise ignored somehow. Oddly enough, your pet learns to not give a fark about you if you do this. My cats had a great deal or care, attention, handling, affection etc and gave plenty back and I feel their loss every day.

On some experience, when it snowed once when my cat was not used to the snow...it pretty much became a boom mike (The whole cat, not the tail) from the immense fluff up when introducing him to the snow...much fun was had.

I am disappointed. Though yes, I suppose my short furred kitty-cats have poofy tails when they get upset. They especially don't like it when my neighbor's feral boy cat comes by. Though one of our cats purrs, hissess, spits, and nuzzles the door when the boy cat shows up.
