They were odd, with a few hitches here and there but what they did perfectly is capture the feeling of playing the anime. They had a myriad little things that just fleshed out the games in a way pokemon never did (even though pokemon games were way better overall...I mean the main rpgs, not all the other sucky spinoffs like mystery dungeon and whatnot) so even though as a game it wasn't perfect, if you were really into the anime it was pretty much heavenly.chaosyoshimage said:I've never played any of the Digimon games except Digimon Battle (The MMO) for awhile ('Till I got bored and could afford a copy of Pokemon SouSilver) and Digimon World 4 at a friends house (Was I Agumon or Guimon? I don't remember). But, I loved the anime. The first three series specifically (Didn't care for Frontier, only made halfway through Savers/Data Squad, and only watched a couple episodes of Xros Wars). Too bad this most likely won't have a U.S. release.
Anyway, are any of the Digimon games reletively good? When I was younger I wanted play them because, "It was Digimon", but once I got older I wasn't sure if they were good enough to bother with...
This game seems to recapture some of that and has my wallet caught by the nostalgia-sack
Oh and I'm talking about digimon world 1 and 2 and the rumble arena game (super smash brothers with digimon basically) as I've not played any of the newer ones. I heard the DS ones were pretty decent too though.
