Second, the internet does that for all the moderately attractive characters in series as popular as Pokemon, I'm looking, and while I see people drawing fanart of her, I'm also seeing a ton of fanart for Wicke too, the female contingents of Pokemon fandom seem to have latched on to Gladion and professor Kukui's shirtless bod.

What is the point of this thread? Look at this fanart the internet drew of a character? Whoopty fucking do, I'm not seeing anything really threadworthy here, do you think the internet reaction to a young attractive pokemon character is somehow new? Because holy fuck, this chick doesn't hold a candle yet to the level of art and enthusiasm Cynthia had. She might be able to compete once the game is out if she develops a fan following, but right now she's a fart in the wind as far as fan reactions are concerned. Is there some large corner of the internet I'm missing that's freaking out over her.

Admit it, you just wanted an excuse to post pictures of a new character you find attractive, some of the art you posted is indeed well done, so I won't say the threads a total waste, just kind of pointless and lacking in discussion value beyond, "look at this hot new fictional character that some Pokemon fans like".

Being a cartoon character honestly doesn't make the constant sexualization of every female character always and forever not exasperating, pathetic, and often creepy. It just means that it's not even nearly as awful as it would be if it was a real person the internet was perving on this time around.

Caring about this issue does not mean that someone does not care, nor is able to actually do anything to affect something somewhere else.
