All religion, just get rid of it all. That includes atheism, evolution, nihilism...everything that can be possibly defined as a religion, the human race as a whole will be much better off.

Rid the world of religion, preferably a few thousand years ago, but even today, we would have a better world.

Dude, athiesm is the lack of religion, it's impossible to define as a religion. if you banned religion everyone would be an athiest. So you can't ban both.... what the???

I'd remove religion just because I'm curious to see what people would find to start a war about in its absence.

And how many people do you think will wish for the world to end, or for it not to, or for all black people to die, or to kill the leader of the intergalactic empire?

I would make all water drinkable.

Now no one in the world can go thirsty... Although we'd probably end up using it faster.
Or yanno, people could go hungry from all the various salt water fish that are used as food stocks dying from what would be poison to them like Tuna, swordfish, halibut, etc.
Or they go eat Freshwater Fish. It's not like they won't start taking over all the waters since there is a lack of Salt Water and no Salt Water Fish anymore. Also, I meant from the beginning of time, not instantly. So Evolution would work as if there were Freshwater Tuna, Freshwater Swordfish, and Freshwater Halibuts.

Also I've heard that you don't necessarily need Food as long as you get Water.
Dumbest shit ever, sure, we can survive for about a month on water alone, but then we die. Because you see, water doesn't hold any energy we can use, what in your body needs energy? fucking everything. Not even evolution would have been able to fix this.

Okay, if I can change one thing, I change it so that I'm omnipotent so I can change anything I want whenever I want without the limit of just changing one thing. I'll be able to change infinite things however I want, whenever I want.

Or everyone could be considered agnostic, as in they don't actually know with any kind of certainty what will happen when we die...like everyone currently is anyway if you think about it.

Androids just happend. Bam. We all have personal Android servants.
They arnt allowed to break the law, cannot assist in suicide, and can look and act however we want. Appearance can be changed at will, and they run off off a moderated amount Carbon Dioxide. (thus cleaning the air for all life, but not taking in to much to endanger the ecosystem)

I personally would have mine look like J'zargo so we can walk around with matching "College of Winterhold" t-shirts and talk about how hes sleeping wit Colette for free restoration training. Then Bro-fist as we go on reddit and laugh about posts of him.

what a douche! seriously erasing him from the face of the planet would make the earth a better place!

greediness WWI was started partly because the German Kaiser was jealous of every country having colonies except Germany. the other part was the avenging of the assignation of Ferdinand.

sorry about that but faith is a broad term. if I have no faith in myself then how would I know what i can or can't do? if I can't draw then would a bad drawing be proof that I can't? since it would be proof that I can't then why should I try?
You would know what you can or can't do by trying it and thereby acquiring evidence. Skills are not absolute, they are acquired. Just because you are not amazing at a particular activity does not mean you cannot become good at it, there is plenty of evidence for this. Motivation does not require faith or even evidence but desire, if you want to draw then you should try it.

There is no evidence of anything. Nothing can prove that a the message that moves from your eye to your brain is real and not fabricated. You can't even prove that your eye or brain exist without some degree of faith. All you would have is Descartes Cogito Ergo Sum, and if that's all anyone ever believed in the world would be a pretty fucked place from my angle.
Nothing can be absolutely proven, this does not mean you disregard all evidence. You trust the evidence of your eyes because it is supported by your other senses, yes these are not absolute either but it does not require faith, just the acceptance that you can't have absolute knowledge. All you can ever have is a working model, this doesn't mean you should revert to faith.

EDIT: My 300th post? Then I shall post in the shade.

Nothing can be proven at all to any degree except I think therefore I am. There is 0% ability to scientifically prove that your ears work, that your eyes work or that either works in conjunction with each other let alone exists in any tangible reality. Without faith there is nothing. What you want isn't no faith, its no faith in anything beyond the dozens of senses we 'have.'

Awfully pedantic, but okay. I want faith (the belief in something despite a lack of evidence) replaced entirely with empiricism. Though I disagree with the assertion that a lack of absolute evidence equals no proof.

everyone gets a turn in the machine from restaurant at the end of the universe that compares you importance in the universe to that of a fairy cake. Sure everyone would lose their will to live but it would be nice to get away from all the arrogance for a short time.

I would remove the common cold.
The cold makes people grumpy and sniffly and sneezy and yucky. Grumpy, sniffly, sneezy, yucky people (henceforth known as gryiffzly people) cannot do anything because they are gryiffzly.
How many wars have been started because someone had a cold? How many people had to put off making a cure for some horrible disease because they had a cold? How many... things have been ruined because of a cold? I don't know and neither do you but it's probably to many!
By removing the cold I have cured all diseases, stopped war and made the world a nicer place. You're welcome.

Or, I would remove bugs. Not the sicky ones, the insect ones. Just all of them. They're all horrible and the world would be an equally better off place without them slithering and crawling on everything with their hideous shells, legs and eyes.
