Just like you I decided to lose weight a few years ago. In the first two months I lost around 35 to forty pounds, I was addicted to exercise and eating healthy for a while. Fast forward about two years, now I'm in great shape, I still exercise daily, and I love it! The self confidence boost alone is worth it, along with all the positive health effects.
I think one of the best parts is seeing people's reactions when I lost a lot of weight in a period where the person in question had not seen me in a while. Knowing someone has a mental image of you being heavy, only to see you thinner looking feels so good!
