Congratulations! :D Just like you I decided to lose weight a few years ago. In the first two months I lost around 35 to forty pounds, I was addicted to exercise and eating healthy for a while. Fast forward about two years, now I'm in great shape, I still exercise daily, and I love it! The self confidence boost alone is worth it, along with all the positive health effects.

I think one of the best parts is seeing people's reactions when I lost a lot of weight in a period where the person in question had not seen me in a while. Knowing someone has a mental image of you being heavy, only to see you thinner looking feels so good!

Glad to see others in this thread have either done the same, or are at least trying.

I went from 19 hour gaming sessions and never seeing the sun. To being married and almost never having time to myself. I love it. Sure, I miss my free time, but having the right companion beside me has made things far more interesting.

I gave up masturbation 57 days ago. It's been a stressful time but I've been much more successful with the ladies as a result.
I've tried this but can only last a little over a week : \
Ill be laying in bed bored and Ill be like "Why the fuck not"

I don't even need to be aroused, just bored : \

OT:

Good job OP!
I always like to hear people try to lose weight with healthy lifestyle changes instead of fad diets and fasting.I know way too many people who try to lose weight by starving themselves.

So I recently decided im not going to be fat anymore and have been going to the gym 5 days a week for about 5 weeks now I also decided to change my entire eating habits and eating better.
Good for you!

But these kind of posts are better when they come with details so other people can learn from what worked (for you). So here's my question:

Week 3-4 Muscle Building
Can you describe your routine, especially how you do two weeks of muscle-building 5 days a week without getting an injury? A few years ago I had a slip and fall that injured my knee (probably should have seen a doctor but at the time I thought it was just a bruise) and that combined with attempting to re-start a strength-training routine had me in knee pain that wouldn't go away for about 2 years. Now I'm very cautious about working out the same muscle groups without 1 or ideally 2 days of rest between them. And since because of my life-style I work my legs every day...

EDIT: Another question- do you adjust your diet between the two programs?
For muscles I alternate days one day is arms while the other is legs and do a bit of ab or chest each day.

I workout about 2-3 hours and drink tons of water.

When I'm finished I drink a protein shake in the gym or in car as its best to use it 30 mins within the end of workout. I typically rest if I don't have work afterwords.

at lest once a week I'll go to the pool for water exercise.

Going to try and climb pinnacle mountain once a month.

as for food it stays the same I eat about 8 times a day albit smaller meals

They start off bigger but get smaller as day progresses.

Breakfest is prob the only meal that's good sized.

Small meals is all iv been eating really nowadays and I never really followed the 3 meals a day so it was mostly just a reduction in amount of food and raising the meals from like 5 to 8.

Mmmmmm Banana's

Oh right yea im probly only hating how better food is more costly over the cheapness of junk food.

Iv lost at least 10 pounds at this point but its getting harder to tell sense the muscles on me are getting larger and they weigh more lol
