Changing Escapist Name A Second Time?

Anyway, after recently starting to use the forum more it's dawned on me that some people do find my current username rather offensive, so is it possible to change it a second time for the better of the community?

I'm not offended by this but I'm sure if you asked the staff nicely enough (and proof of people getting upset over it) they'd allow you to change it back to your old one. Not so sure about a second name change though as you know, make an exception once and you're obligated to make it again and again.

Just PM a mod, I guess they can either do that, or know who you have to ask, or know of a way to transfer you account history into a new one you set up...

But yeah, if it's the second time... Avoid doing it again. Don't strain their patience.

It's offensive as it says "Rohypnol", a date rape drug, in case some of you can't see it. That's a good enough reason for a change in my opinion. I have no issues with it, but can see why others might.

Message the staff, they'll give their views on this.

Rohypnol is a drug used quite commonly to sedate and rape someone. Though it still isn't that offensive, I've seen people with Satanic as well as other drug referencing user names.

Op as long as it isn't hateful to anyone and the mods haven't done anything you should be fine.

I think that the implications of date-rape are enough reason for a name change. I'd change it just to be on the safe side, but you should probably PM a mod. They actually know what they're doing, unlike myself.

Some people are very touchy feely, there's nothing wrong with it.

I guess if a problem arises, you could ask a Mod about changing it again?
