Playing Sonic Adventure 2 again for the first time in years reminded me how much my friend and I liked to spend in the Chao Garden. Did anyone else like to raise Chao? What were some of the more unique Chao you had?

Some of the Chao I had back in the day were a neutral, two-tone white running type chao.

An Angel Chaos Chao.

And an invisible Chao that I gave a bat so it floated, then I put a pumpkin on its head so I had a floating pumpkin

At the moment I have a couple of Chao. One that I'm just giving everything to and another that I'm just giving seals to because I remember having a kickass Chao like that on Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast.

Think I might name all my chao after forum members because I can't think of any better way, and some of the names here are at least imaginative =P

Yeah I'm raising two at the moment, trying to get one hero, one dark. I used the animal glitch and got the hero chao's flying stat to level 30 with like three birds. It couldn't even walk yet Other one's gonna be dark swimming type

God the amount of hour I spent with my chao was insane I love those little bastards. I miss Tigey get was my little champ. He has all tiger parts except his ram horns which were orange so they matched and was a hero type.

I had hero speed Chao raised by Sonic and fed only leopards. Also had a dark flying Chao raised by Shadow and fed only phoenixes. :x I lost all my saves some time ago, and I just can't be bothered to raise them all again.

On that note, I would love to have my dark Chao for a real pet. That would be fuckin' awesome. Such an adorable little monster, he was.

If you give a chao a warthog it gets trotters that look like Sonic's shoes and it runs around like Sonic I had an all blue hero running chao like that

I remember if you take them to school they start doing paintings and stuff in the garden. I think they paint the character they like the most So adorable

I had a fantastic Chao. One who went from Sonic DX, to Sonic Adventure on the GBA, then to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. We spent many years together, my chao and I without incident. He won every race, won everything he ever entered. All stats were at 90.

I was a bright young lass of only 19 when it happened. I turn on my gamecube, play some levels then think it's time to return to my chao. Then it happened. I couldn't find my special little guy. I looked everywhere, flew around the area as tails just to find him. But I couldn't. I couldn't understand. Then I saw it.

There my special little chao was. In some sort of egg thing. I didn't know what this meant. I didn't know what to do. I worried about my chao. Tried breaking him out of the egg but it was no use. The egg faded and there he was again!... only different. Then I picked him up. All stats were level 1.

I...

I...

I CAN'T TAKE THIS KIND OF HEART BREAK!! *runs away to cry in a corner*

OT: I remember just doing City Escape over and over to get the little flask things just for my Chao. Good times.

The Chaos were pretty much the main part of that game for me. It was so much fun to play the main levels to look for vials and animals to give to my chaos to see what they would turn into.

An old friend and I were obsessed with this game in grades 5-6. We would compete all the time and try to raise the coolest/cutest/strongest one. She usually won...

Sonic Adventure Battle 2 was one of my favorite Gamecube games. That, Animal Crossing, Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros Melee were all in my top 5 for Gamecube.

I had so many chao's on Sonic Adventure 2 battle. I always had at least 1 dark/evil one though lol.

Hopefully on the HD remake coming out, Chao's are back >=D

I've been playing SADX and training chaos. I'm being a huge douche and treating all of them nicely except for one. Just one. I brutalize that one terribly. I heard that chaos die so I have been trying to kill it for the longest time since I got SADX on my PS3

My brother and I would divide our Chao; I'd get an Evil Chao for every Good Chao he got. He got a good chao to level 80 (Maybe my memory is crap and they don't even use a level system...).

I was playing that again with my sister a few months back, and we started to get into some hardcore Chao Breeding. The goal was to get an all <color=#CC6600>S-grade Chao for fun and profit. We got a piece of paper and started tracking the family trees. It's kind of on a hiatus now, but we're eight generations in. Yes, the paper is still in her room.

Within a week or two, we got 3 <color=#CC6600>Ss on one of the Chao, and also managed to breed a bizzarely low-opacity Chao of a ghostly jade green color.

Any children's game where you can perform mad science and genetic engineering is awesome.

This was literally the only reason I ever played the game, my friend had it and a lot of the times I went over to his place we just played around in the Chao garden, I think we barely even played the actual game.

chaos neutral chao is what i had, i love that guy.(***** to get him though) have about 10 strangth chao's,5 swimmers,and one speed.
