So we always talk about those people who died that made you sad, that you even cried at, but were there any that bought an evil smile to your face?

Case in point, in the latest chapter of Attack on Titan, the Colossal Titan finally dies.

He's in his human form, with his arms and legs cut off as a titan picks him up. Realizing what is about to happen he sees Eren and the rest of the Survey Corp and calls for help. When none comes he calls for Annie and the Armored Titan before he gets eaten.

I won't lie, for a brief instant, I did feel bad for him. But then I remembered how many people he has killed. How he doesn't have the slightest bit of regret. How he had kept the Armored Titan on task even when it was obvious that the Armored Titan has some serious mental issues. How he lied to everyone. And I couldn't help but think how he deserved it.

Any other characters that had well deserved deaths?

OH! That jackass final boss from the Pirates movies.

This one:
Even though watching it again, these movies don't really hold up. Maybe the first one does?

I don't follow AOT but I know people who do and given it's popularity you should probably put in spoiler blocks.

I was trying to be vague as possible. I didn't name him or give details of what happened, for example. But I'll probably put some spoilers up for the sake of people who want to avoid any and all spoilers.

I'm not trying to turn this into a thread about spoilers but I think you missed the point as it still clearly states the death of a character which is in no way vague.

I was pretty down with that death, too! I imagine I wasn't alone in that regard either, considering my comment expressing exactly how down with that death I was is the chapter's top-rated comment on Mangastream. XD

it's weird, because at worst I'm usually just neutral about most deaths... not really the type to take cathartic pleasure in a character's death even if they were a complete tool... but those two guys, man...

Can the title be edited to say spoilers, even its obvious that this thread is chock full of them?

From Netflix's Marco Polo:
Chancellor Jia Sidao had it coming. Pretty fun little death too, the fight with Hundred Eyes was awesome. And the idea that the Chinese considered him a hero after the Mongols moved in made his death seem cooler '

Punisher beating Vera to death by slamming her against a window for 30 minutes in The Slavers.

Almost every main villan kill in Punisher MAX. He goes against some truly evil people.

Spoilers for all, but come on, it's been a decade or near decade for most these shows.

Hao Asakura being vertically bisected in half. To anyone who read the manga first and hated the ending, this makes it all the more enjoyable. I saw the show first, but it was nice seeing such a smug asshole get what's coming to him.

The X-Laws from the same show are this to a lesser extent. They're are a lawful stupid group of extremist who kills anyone for not being part of their group. They tried to sacrifice the main characters to kill Hao and it all bit them in the end. You're supposed to feel sad for when they were killed off (almost all of them were wronged by Hao in some way), but I barely felt anything when most of them died. The only frustrating thing was that Marco should have died, the biggest asshole of the group. It's understandable why the leader, Jeanne, an 11 year-old girl, doesn't die; plus she actually suffers by losing her most powerful spirit that gets eaten by Hao's Spirit of Fire. So at least they both get punished from suffering defeat and being "rescued" by their enemies, but Marco was such a holier-than-thou prick it was upsetting that he survived.

When Lucy has a suicidal temper tantrum and tries to kill everything and everyone on the planet. It's so bad that even her other personalities ask Kouta to mercy kill her. To the point that the psychotic personality even agrees, due to losing control of her powers as well. It's obvious the reader is supposed to feel sad for both Lucy & Kouta, but I felt nothing but contempt for the former. My smile was almost Grinch worthy.

Dante being eaten by Gluttony. The only bad thing about it, is that you don't get see it happened, but her freaking out as Gluttony is about to attack is icing on the cake.

<spoiler=Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood/Original Manga> After seeing Envy being the Karma Houdini in the first adaption, it was satisfying seeing him be punished. The viewer is expected to pity him on some level, but I felt nothing and was slightly amused that he killed himself out humiliation and seeing how strong humanity can be. Envy is indeed a deadly emotion and sin.

Kenshiro against any cold hearted villain, but his "fight" with Jagi is the best one. See for yourself:

That asshole from School Days. I only finished that series because I needed to see the protagonist die. Because of what he put me through.

What an awful show.

The death of literally everyone from Melancholia. I didn't like any of them and I couldn't wait for the world to end so I could finally walk out of the theater without looking ungrateful to my friends who brought me there.

Characters need to hit an almost perfect sweet spot for me to cheer when they die; Too soon and I won't really care, too long and I'll be too tired to care. Joffrey for example took way too long.

Let's see-

All of the baddies from Game of Thrones (now if only Cercei bite the dust next) and The Walking Dead.

The main girl from Deep Blue Sea since it was her fault they had to deal with a super intelligent shark. Heck I read that in the original public testing, the black guy was suppose to sacriface himself but the test audience boo and calling the main girl a ***** to that black guy didn't end up in the black guy death thanks to the audience!

Ein from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blood Orphan. His hatred was somewhat misdirect. Ok technically yes Mikazuki did killed his beloved superior but he did it out of mercy request (he asked to be killed eventhought he didn't finish saying his final word but hey his upbringing was messed up). He ends up becoming what that superior would had hated since he didn't wanted to fight the orphans. I just wish there was a voice recording from that mobile suit so when he did damaged that suit later on near the end, he would had heard his final words.
Seeing his merged suit destory was kinda satifying HOWEVER we never saw his core body being crush so I really hoping they are not brining him back in season 2!

Oh, so one of those traitors finally got it, huh? While I don't follow the show or series at all (too dark and depressing for my liking), I am aware of the "truth" behind some of the events. And when I found out about it, I could not wait for them to start biting the dust, mainly because of the the exact reasons you listed.

Sasuke from Naruto! No, wait...he's still breathing. Damn.

Fine. Obito from Naruto. That guy is basically the adult version of Sasuke--as in, he's a brat little kid who never grew up. He let the death of ONE person drive him to do unspeakable things. How many thousands of people are dead because of his actions? Because nearly every death in the series, from random background ninja to main characters, can be traced back to him. Sure, they tried to make his death all heroic and redeeming like Nagato's, but it just doesn't work. That guy is soaked in so much blood that Rin should want nothing to do with him in the afterlife.

Jacen Solo. Oh Jacen, how far you fell. You used to be one of my favorite Star Wars characters. But then you got moody. You started thinking you knew better than everyone. You let a Sith get inside your head, despite all your years and experience warning you about the danger they pose. And then you went Sith. You killed one of your fellow Jedi, a young girl who had just graduated from being an apprentice. You tried to kill your parents. You took over the Galactic Republic in a coup. You tried to kill even more Jedi.
But then, you crossed the line. All of that other, I could have forgiven you for. You would need to be put on trial, and sentenced to life or possibly executed, but I could forgive you. But then you KILLED MARA JADE! DIE YOU BASTARD! When Jaina ran him through, I cheered. I wanted her to cut his head off, even though they're twins. No redemption, no return to the light side at the very last second. Dead. Dead and gone. Screw you, Jacen Solo.
