Yes, I get it was the point and I like how his death played out in the story, but I dunno if I'd decribe it as really 'making me happy'. There was kinda, I dunno, melancholy feeling about it even if it was also satisfying. Zorin's death was good as well but it wasn't built towards long enough for me to consider it as satisfying.CoCage said:That was the entire point. And even then he didn't win because Alucard came back 30 years later, so The Major's victory became null and void. It was satisfying when Zorin kicked the bucket, not so much Rip Van Winkle. It was the way she died more than anything else really.Lieju said:As for Hellsing, finally seeing Major die was satisfying since it had been built towards nicely too. Although it feels like... I dunno, not a victory? He got what he wanted and dies believing he won.
In a non-villain deaths, Anderson in Hellsing. His death is really satisfying for me and while I wasn't rooting for him to die, considering he was my favourite character, the way things ended felt like a satisfying story.
