We all have those characters that we love and those that you become truly attached to, whether it be because of great story arcs or just sheer goofiness/idiocy.

I think my most recent case would be Cole McGrath from Infamous.
Now I'm not going to spoil (hopefully) so I'll just say the good ending of Infamous 2 and leave it there.

So your turn, which character have you genuinely become attached to?

I really like Ezio from Assassins Creed. I think he has a good story line and a fun personality.
Lara Croft is one of my fave characters too.

I really didn't like Cole too much in the first game, he was too bland and grumpy. In the second though, they really did make you care about him, especially the scene near the end with him simply hanging out with Zeke, which I think really helped the ending.

I would choose Samus Aran from Metroid.
I love the creatures you encounter, on the planets you visit. I also love the technology that you find.

If we're talking only games then probably Ezio. If we're talking from anything then hands down Tavi and Kitai from Codex Alera.

I would have to say my avatar, Sand of Neverwinter

I just love the way Sand speaks of himself and others. And how well fitting his name is.
And because I take him with me everywhere, and agree with him most of the time, he does not betray me.

Yep, he's totally a bro.

I would like to say I get attached to every person in the games that I play but I gotta go with the master chief. Say what you want about the guy but he dealt with a lot of crap and never complained. I realise some people may disagree with my opinion and those with differing opinions do please feel free to keep those opinions to yourselves :)

Kanji Tatsumi-Persona 4.

"I don't care if it's a man or a woman. Won't someone please accept me for who I am?!"
I cannot begin to describe how that line effected me. It's like they took my own insecurities and had Troy Baker yell them at me.

Frank West and Chuck Greene. Two very intresting characters who are both flawed and have their own weaknesses. Frank West is selfish and arrogant, and more intrested in getting a story then other people initially, but he soon becomes much more aware and helpful. His need for zombrex and the events leading up to Dead Rising Off the Record should make his character very intresting. Chuck Greene is just as flawed with his horrible one liners and his lack of compassion towards the psycopaths (Watching a person with a noose around their neck and not doing anything is surprising). However he is shown as a caring father and he also utimately works towards to a decent goal. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the two are portrayed together in off the record, and seeing what happens to them in the future.

Garrus from ME 1 and 2
The rookie from ODST and Noble 6 from Reach
(for some reason i love not being some glamorous soldier but more an unsung hero.)
Merrill from DA2
Charlie and Itchy from ADGTH

those are some of my favorite characters i can think of.
