Veigar in LoL. He's my main champion and I believe i'm good with him but I can't bring myself to play him at all sometime. I have some difficulties managing the stress of being mid carry, it feels like the victory depends on me. So, I often choose Bruiser (Garen, Darius, Mundo) because it feel like im just a + in a team and not the pillar.

Having played about 2 matches of LoL, your posts always confuse me o_O I don't know what half of those things that you said are.

OT:
Diablostyle games - Any physical ranged damage dealer. I can do melee warriors pretty much every time, I can mostly do magic users, but I have never enjoyed bows/cannons/guns. Even in torchlight 2, although that was more enjoyable than all the other times I've tried.
Is it all the abbreviations? It is isn't it? I guess some people can't tell the difference between an AD Carry and a tanky DPS jungle bruiser XD

You know those guys who absolutely destroy people with solely autoattacks late game? Yeah that's an AD Carry. LoL is pretty much a long elaborate game of "which team can focus the other Carry and protect their Carry better?"

Unless Darius is in the game... Then he's just going to spam R in a teamfight and get the instant Pentakill. I'm only slightly exaggerating here :(

Luckily people don't play him much anymore. I guess facerolling the most overpowered thing since Dark Wesker can get pretty boring once you've done it long enough.

I find it to be quite rewarding when you manage to learn LoL, i'm still learning new stuff after several months of playing it nearly every day. It's pretty in-depth and the new skins they're releasing are just miles ahead of where they used to be... Screw Pulsefire Ezreal, Foxfire Ahri is the real legendary skin!

If you like to learn new games and can manage to navigate the most rage-filled community out there it's pretty damn fun. Way better if you can get some friends to play it as well.

But remember kids! Contrary to popular belief, Skyping with a friend is not God Mode!

The problem with mages is that they are weakened in too many ways in most games.

less armor
more resources needed (mana + ingredients for certain abilities)
interrupted or longer casts when being attacked -_-
generally useless weapons (stat sticks)
This. Though when they AREN'T borderline useless they're utterly broken like in Dragon Age.

I would like to go a knight most of the time, but unfortunately most RPG's make them only focus on armour and because of that they do hardly any damage (not even half of what wizard and rouge can do). This makes them very boring.

Any sort of bare-handed fighter (monk, pugilist, fighter, etc.) I remember playing Ragnarok Online back when I was in Middle School and loved the way Monks would chain together their attacks and end with a ridiculously powerful finisher--Guillotine Fist, I think. I'd always try one out, but I could never get used to it. Using them just never felt right to me.

Then again, I always played as a caster, so front-line fighting itself put me out of my comfort zone quite nicely. I couldn't manage anything that didn't involve kiting or zoning for the life of me.

oh you know you had fun being that overpowered. casting fire balls and immobilizing an entire group of enemies then pulling out a sword charging in and cutting them to ribbons. I mean when was the last time you could do that in a class based system.

It's true I did. Nothing like singelhandedly taking down an entire army and a tainted God in the finale either :']

Those classes that start out pathetic but at later levels become godly. Usually mages or combo based classes. Leveling up is pure torture until you get that one ability or combination of abilities that makes the class just come alive. I love them, but I just don't have the patience to slog through the initial grind to get to the kickass part.

I'm pretty terrible with LoL tanks. I get overconfident and become too aggressive. I overestimate my ability to withstand damage and get killed all too often. Also not so good with carry. I'm better with Ranged AP. Heck, I'm very good with Morgana most of the time, and I'm alright playing Annie.
I never play tanks, there's something about not really being able to do damage and relying on your team to go in with you that annoys me... The only one i like is Sejuani and she's apparently good as a jungler so I don't have to go Sejuani Support and watch the Carry farm for 15 minutes.

Maybe she's a solo top? Dunno. Suppose so.

She's just fun to play, want to start a teamfight? "STAMPEDE!" *wham* Lulz. You can charge over nearly every wall in the game. I love any character who can do that automatically.

I can't play an AD Carry to save my life. The first thing I write whenever I bother to try Ranked is "not carry" I like Ashe but only because her Ultimate is so fucking badass when you land a cross map 3.5 second stun arrow to help your teammates in a fight you aren't even in.

Miss Fortune is the only AD Carry I find really fun to play. I could go into detail but this one quote from her sums it all up

"YAHAHA AHAHAHAHA!"

- Miss Fortune
Morgana is very good as a solo top, yes. And if used right, she can quickly take out enemy champions once they get to about half HP.

Same here. I'm terrible with carry characters. I tried Ashe but just couldn't get the hang of it.

I HATE Miss Fortune. I fear we are now enemies, good sir.

Druids in Dungeons and Dragons. Maybe if I ever play it again that's where I'll go, but I can't stand how limited you are in the beginning.
hmm in 3.5 (especially with the right Splat Books) starting at LvL 1 your Animal Comp. will be better than most Melee Chars and by Lvl 5 (Wild Shape)you can do everything! better than your whole Party together, except for maybe a maximized Cleric or Mage

I know the abbreviations like AD and AP, it's generally the specific builds/moves/characters that you talk about. I have no idea what the problems you're talking about are :p.

I can't farm well early game at all no matter who i'm playing. I only pick up my farm when I get ability X to level 3 or 4 and can oneshot the caster minions at the back. I'm getting better at just chilling and watching my character autoattack until the kill comes up though. But I still feel more at home when i'm pressing buttons and bursting someone down.

Morg as a solo top? I assume you meant to say Sejuani because of course, Morgana is the best AP Carry mid in the game right now. XD

And come on, MF is hilarious. Yarr she's a mighty pirate... Hunter. What's not to love? Watch as she turns out to cost the full 6300IP. Sad panda incoming :(

And who gave the Captcha godlike AI again? "agree to disagree" Fuckin' Skynet waiting to happen man...

I've learnt to not buy Carries, I wait until they're free and give them several test runs to see exactly how much I like their character. Because as we all know character emotes/move/attack lines > damage

"How do you like my guns? Shock. And Ahhhh~ <3"

No, I meant Morg, I solo or duo top with her most of the time. I don't use her as a carry.

True, but I was pwned a lot by Miss Fortune before, and now she's my #1 target whenever I see her in the field. I want to make her PAY.

I have problems playing melee characters in any game, especially LoL. If I can't kite my way to victory, I won't feel comfortable playing it.

Morg top would work I suppose, try telling that to people in Ranked though... If they don't get their perfectly-in-line-with-the-metagame-team they will declare you to be a troll of the highest calibre! In Normal people play whoever the fuck they want to play, whereever the fuck they want to go. I kinda like that really... Makes things more interesting. I can just switch to whatever the team is lacking to even it out anyway.

Not to mention that Morgana is permabanned in Ranked because she's just so good in lane and so difficult to play against the entire game. The fact that you can't stun her out of Soul Shackles is the entire reason you don't want her anywhere near a teamfight. Zhonya's + SS = Pentakill.

I've never had a problem with enemy MFs before... Maybe I don't see her often enough? Let's just say i'm never as scared of an MF than I am of an Ashe or Tryndamere. I've always loved her Ultimate though, something about that maniacal laugh just makes her so adorable...

Assassins, because most often when you're discovered you have very little to fall back on.

Spies in TF2 are a prime example for me, getting a back stab is the most satisfying thing in the game for me yet it's difficult to back stab more than 2 people without getting discovered and killed.

Same here, if were to name my "main" class in TF2 it would have to be the Spy, even though I play more of and am better at the Demoman. Dat grenade melee weapon. Accurate melee swings? Me? Nope! Just smack a wall and watch as that enemy Scount gets blown to pieces XD

I swear there are some situations where a Spy can't even get into the enemy ranks without being instakilled. When you're in one of those stalemate roadblock situations where both teams are sort of chilling around one point just harassing until someone goes and Ubercharges a Heavy and goes for the kills. The Spy can't really get in without it being really obvious.

This is precisely why the Dead Ringer is funny as fuck. It's basically a free Get-into-enemies-free card. I need to go back to TF2 more I think... Wasn't the one new knife overpowered as hell apparently? The ice one that crystalises enemies. I've seen people bitching over it

Most execution/mix-up heavy characters in fighting games. I much prefer characters with simple combos, and strong normals. Footsie/zoning oriented characters like Street Fighter's Ryu and Guile. I hate dropping combos, and mix-up oriented characters don't mesh well with my defensive style. ):

In Melty Blood, I love Arcueid as a character but I cannot play her because of how long and difficult her combos are. Like every character in Melty, Arcueid has three different styles. Cresent, Half, and Full Moon. C-Arc looks to have the longest combos of them all, H-Arc has strange 2A whiff combos, and F-Arc has plenty of pesky links in her stuff. She, in all three of her variations, also lacks the strong, long ranged normals I look for in my characters.

I get some flak for it, but I love playing H-Nanaya, a character with easy yet damaging combos. He doesn't have a lot of tricks, but he's got a solid moveset. Everyone would rather play my C-S.Akiha, a character I'll play only when I'm feeling really good. Her combos are a little tricky, and I feel it's much more difficult for her to escape pressure. It's a little finicky playing with her.

I can play every other class effectively which makes it even more frustrating. On top of that two of the people from my clan I play with a day to day basis are both spies that have cleared whole teams. I love the Caber too! And I'm pretty good at aiming with melee weapons so I can take out just about everyone but a Heavy with it. I really have to get my hands on a Strange version.
