okay the deaths can be under 3 catagories

1. to have a climactic ending to a game/movie/anime
2. to end a series
3. because you hate the character

i choose Ash Ketchum from Pokemon, because the series is to long, and they have to end it before it gets out of hand.

On topic, since I can't think of much better, Umbridge should have died alongside the many other characters who got killed off in Deathly Hollows, her reason to exist was to satisfy the fans by torturing her.

I'm actually going to have to say I would have liked Mastercheif to have officially died at the end of Halo 3 as a sign that he had finished the fight and therefore rather poetically ended his life with it. I mean I suppose him getting back into the freezer is somewhat poetic given that the trilogy ended the way it began, with him in a freezer. But still I just think some characters make more sense dying to complete their life's mission and MC was one of them. This isn't just based on the fact that I preferred the Arbiter as a protagonist either, I just think that's how it should have been.

Sarah Kerrigan under categories 1 and 3. Shouldn't end the StarCraft franchise, but I think StarCraft 2's final campaign (The Protoss one, I believe?) should finish her off, preferably with Jimmyboi Raynor giving her an instant lobotomy with an assault rifle. Some cheesy romantic tragedy could be thrown in, and in the end, Sarah Kerrigan would go off in history as a likable character in the end... Unlike her Brood War self >_>
