Too many, i'll have to make a list someday. This is a start, though.
-Bella Swan and every single one of her love interests
-Everyone ever to appear in the same series as that god awful book Loamhedge (never made it past page 14)
-Most people in Oblivion, the self-interested pricks.
-Every character to originally appear in the Kingdom Hears series
-The old lady in the Max Payne 2 level No "Us" in this who says oh-so believably "I heard a noise, a noise woke me up"
-And Princess Peach, for reasons including but not limited to her always getting abducted, and everyone else being surprised
-Diddy Kong, because he's an annoying prick

Sidorovich the trader from STALKER: SoC.
"So Marked One... I saved you... and I'm not going to pretend I did it to earn any favours upstairs...So, you do some work for me... and, we're even."
Liar. It was the other fella who picked you up from the Death Truck wreckage, Sid did fuck all to help, only trying to grab the PDA off you before you wake up.
(Not a spoiler, it's the intro and the first words said to you.)
Yeah, takes credit for rescuing you, then sends you on some of the hardest, most dangerous tasks possible...
...and he knows you are Strelok.
Always had an innate mistrust of fat traders in areas where starvation is a real concern.

Speaking as one who LOVES Redwall...Screw off man! Redwall's freakin' awesome! I will agree though, Loamhedge ISN'T the best book in the series. Sad to say, that still is Martin the Warrior.....of course speaking as one whose read the books in order, when Martin stumbles into Mossflower, without a wife, without a father, it's..pretty obvious what's gonna happen to Rose. See the Tomoe effect given to us by Rurouni Kenshin...

Kratos. Dude needs to take a chill pill and get his anger issues sorted out. Also needs to decide if he wants character development or not.

Vaan, FF12. He was just too cliche for me. Also, Gabe Logan. In most of his games, I actually want the villains to succeed, because it'd shut him up.

This. The older Redwall books are infinitely better than the new ones. Jacques got stuck in his formula and it killed the quality. His other series, Castaways of the Flying Dutchman is pretty much all the stuff Jacques loves (pirates, riddles, adventures, more riddles, sailing, more fucking riddles) and it turns out quite good. Loamhedge.. I can't remember a single moment from that book- it was that bland.

Were we even supposed to like Vaan? No one in FF12 seems to, I figured you were supposed to just tune him out and focus on the relevant characters.

I hated Waka from Okami. This guy seems fairly popular, he directs you around, and I literally raeged a rainbow every time this asshole shows up. Smug dickweed bastard. If you're such a badass sage, why don't you go save the world, huh asshole?

I hate the movie version of Ramona Flowers. I dated a girl exactly like that, and it boggles my mind as to how anyone can consider such a temperamental, superficial coward an "adult."

(you know something's wrong when the giant robot/alien is more likable than it's pilot)
yeah, everyone in that damn series was just so unlikable, altho the Shinji they showed at the end of it that told aisha (whatever) to fuck off and let him sleep, was pretty good

To be fair, the character of Ariel was subjected to Disneyfication to the Nth degree. In the original Danish fairy tale she's supposed to kill the prince and in return will be turned back into a mermaid. She refuses to do so out of love and throws herself into the sea, dissolving into foam (read: kills herself) and ascends to Heaven for her sacrifice. I agree with you that her character in the movie is hollow and selfish, but that's just Disney for you. They wouldn't have a character commit suicide no matter the reason, especially in the late 80's.
Yeah, I couldn't call myself an animation fan if I weren't aware of Disneyfication. Even my favorite Disney feature, Hunchback of Notre Dame, is a textbook example. But Disney could have at least brought some of the depth of the character from the original story. She didn't have to kill herself, but she could at least go through the ups and downs of the character's development.

True, some of Disney princesses are selfish, but at least they have redeeming features. Belle is willing to see the good in someone and help him be a better person as well as being smart enough to know a foolish brute when she sees one, and Jasmine is crafty and uncanny, has a strong sense of justice, and enjoys exploring an entire community rather than just royal extravagance. The only thing Ariel has is her curiosity of human culture, and all it does is make her look more ignorant and pathetic when she sings about how great it must be on land, and when she tries to display her "knowledge" that the stupid seagull guy told her.

ME-Garrus.

He's so useless and always enjoys dying and never listens to orders!
I hate bringing him with me places and I can't understand the love people have with him.
Getting that achievement was extremely frustrating.

This thread has gone four pages and no one mentions Navi. I'm surprised.

The titular character of Harry Potter.

I love the entire wizarding world and the supporting cast is awesome.

But Harry has never come off as anything but a selfish ragey tit, to me anyway. Blah blah blah "reluctant hero" whatever. There are much better, less stupid, less persistently selfish reluctant heroes out there. He gets a lot handed to him simply because he's the Chosen One. He doesn't display any particular skills or smarts, except in Quidditch, and that's ultimately sort of irrelevant in the end. He whines about not wanting to do this hero stuff; his switches are "RAGE!!!!" and "piss and moan." We're told he loves a lot and he's compassionate, but we rarely see much evidence of it.

Hermione does all the footwork for him; she figures out all the riddles and puzzles and makes all the plans and knows all the magic. She had flaws, big ones, but generally had a good heart (being protective of Neville, the House Elf rights campaign). Why the hell couldn't we have HER as the main character?

Speaking of Neville, he made a more likable reluctant hero, AND he was incredibly badass. He developed in a more believable manner, too; from a shrimpy little guy to beheading fucking monster snakes while his head was on fire.

Harry just pales in comparison to his much more well-developed supporting cast.

NEAR!

dear GOD I hated him so much I wanted Light to get off scott-free just so Near could die a painful death.
Stupid lame substitute for L.
Thank You! what's weird is that I liked and despised Light. Seeing him bleeding out made me cry and go "Yes, take that you bastard!"
Thank you! God I -hate- Near.

In my mind, that series ended at the mid-point.

I know what you guys mean, although I wouldn't really say I hated any of the protagonists - they just got lamentably forgettable after he, as you say, got stuck in his formula. I read all those books again and again when I was little...but I can't bring myself to read any other than the older ones now...

OT: Pretty much every character from every book David/Leigh Eddings wrote after the Belgariad/Malloreon. OK, hate is a strong word. But I found myself growing quickly tired of and irritated by the increasingly prevalent attitude in their books - that curiously glib, smug overtone that every character has.

Because he's too busy twirling glitter at people? I actually grew to sort of like Waka in my second playthrough just because he's so so so ridicuous and sparklycamp, but I will never, ever stop calling him Sparkletits.
