I actually really hated Ashley Williams from Mass Effect. Even with aliens onboard the Normandy she still manages to slip in references to hating them every time you talk to her. Talk about a space-racist, what a *****.

Because for some reason Street Fighter had to add a character that looks like she was drawn by someone on deviantart or 4chan who makes stupid orgasm noises and falls over every few hits so you can see her underwear. Her voice sounds like breaking glass being shoved into your ears.

You know, shamed as I am to admit it, given that I really like Dragon Age, I just don't like Leiliana.
I find it impossible to like her with her over-romanticised view of things and her unbelievable desire to live a dangerous and exciting life. I know you're supposed to look at her and think "aww, we're bestest best girly friends and we can talk about shoes together!" but I find that really irritating.
I enjoyed being an elf so I could constantly torment her by calling her racist all the time.
She's certainly not the worst character, but I get the feeling I'm supposed to love her, and I just plain don't.

I don't get the hate for Kaidan and Ashley. Ashley wasn't nearly as racist as you people make out, and Kaidan as whiney? Did we play the same game? He didn't whine at all, he was just like "Meh, I've dealt with it." As for their use in battle, the only characters close to being useful at all were Garrus and Wrex.
