I'm gonna go with Grunt. I don't hear many people actually saying they don't like him, but then again I don't hear many saying they do either.
A lot of people just seem to think of him as a forgettable replacement-Wrex, but I think he's pretty interesting, not to mention a pretty useful team-mate.

Yea, I liked the the most from the whole game. Mostly because she seemed to be the most realistic and have some of the best characterization in the game. I mean, the reason she was suspicious of alien species (Note: SHE's NOT RACIST/XENOPHOBIC) is because her grandfather was the only man to surrender to an alien species, thus keeping her and her father from ranking up in the Alliance military. That's a very good reason. Not to mention that she's a much deeper character than Liara, Garrus, Wrex, or Kaidan, if you talk to her.

Easily the best thing in GTA 4 (okay fine, the best fat, Serbian, compulsive lying thing in GTA 4) was Roman. He gets lots of hate for obvious reasons if you've ever played it
But to me he was much needed comic relief,
the series has taken a more realistic and harrowing turn from it's usual ridiculous mindless fun
and Roman was, to me, a reminder of how silly and warped the whole thing used to be

I dotn see why everyone hates Desmond miles from AC (though I havnt finished AC2 yet)
I mean he's not THAT bland, hes jsut like a normal guy thrown into an abnormal situation......
though thats not always a good thing, kinda feels like one of those charachters (like neo from the matrix) who doesnt actually have to work or earn their awsomeness, they get it handed over to them on a silver platter
and it got me think theres no reason why desmonds charachter couldnt be female...(though I guess it would be weird for them "channeling" a man..but I dont really know how the animus works)

I didn't mind him during cut scenes and story-driven missions, it's just when he'd call up asking to go bowling or to dinner while I've got four wanted stars and half the LCPD (all I did was shoot a hooker in the face and run over a cop tying to arrest me) on my ass, then get pissy when I say no.supermariner said:

Actually, Desmond is not getting everything handed to him on a silver platter, at least not as of AC Brotherhood. If you read e-mails sent between the other teammates, they point out that Desmond has been screaming in his sleep a lot and there are other clues that Desmond may be loosing his grip on both the present and reality.Vault101 said:

Jill Valentine from the RE series. Most of my friends hate her due to the fact she is always being bailed out at the last minute. (Note: this is pre-RE5 Jill). but in all honesty she's not that bad of a character plus she was on my MvC2 line up. But fuck Capcom for fucking her up in MvC3
