I also like Shinji because despite all his baggage he still went out to fight Eldritch Abominations and won.
My beef with Chuck Norris is that, for a while, he was all I heard about, so I got bloody sick of him. He's not a mean guy, no... and he's pretty badass. He was just brought up too often.Anarchemitis said:Lots of people I've talked to seem to dislike Chuck Norris for some reason. It's not like he's a mean guy or anything.
Really? Naoto is hugely popular among the general fanbase. See: http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Naoto_ShiroganeRedEyesBlackGamer said:Naoto Shirogane gets a lot of flak (particularly in my circle of friends). Her and Hawkgirl from the DCAU.
Yukari was the most realistically flawed character in that game. Who hated her? :/Raziel_Likes_Souls said:Really? Because I thought Kira was a good pilot. Sure, not better that Char or anything, but I liked him. I hated Destiny though. SEED was great, however.Arisato-kun said:I guess people hate the character less than the show but I'm a huge fan of Kira Yamato from Gundam Seed. He's hands down my favorite Gundam pilot.
As for me, Yukari Takeba, from Persona 3.
Sure, she's one massive *****, but she's also a lot like a girl I know, who also happens to be a bit of a *****. Both are nice, a majority of the time, however.
Oh I have nothing against Chuck Norris the man, but I absolutely despise Chuck Norris the Internet meme.Anarchemitis said:Lots of people I've talked to seem to dislike Chuck Norris for some reason. It's not like he's a mean guy or anything.
Yeah me too. Sure she could be a little aggravating early on in the game by giving unskippable tutorial info that any idiot should be able to figure out, but after that you can just ignore her.crudus said:I actually didn't mind Navi which seems to be the antithesis of what other people thought. Sure I ignored her most of the time, but never found her annoying.
That one too... She is not as interresting as Tali, Wrex, Liara or Garrus... But she was still less boring that Kaidan and not a that bad of a character herself.Phlakes said:Ashley Williams. But honestly, it's mostly because she gave me something to look at during those elevator rides. Yep, I'm that shallow. (I mean have you seen the back of that armor?)
Really? I think Mission is awesomeDiablo2000 said:I really liked Mission in the first Kotor... Not known that many people who like her...
I wanted to shoot the little fuckers, but the game wouldn't me so I had to content myself with nudging them over the edges of drops.lacktheknack said:The Little Lamplight kids.
Both "D'aaaawwwww" and "WOW" combined in one interaction. I can't wait to have swarms of people do spit takes at this post.
Wait, people complained about Sam Fisher having LESS maneuvers? This is the guy who can climb up walls like he's spider man FFS!SwimmingRock said:Really? OT: Conviction Sam Fisher. People complained about him looking too old and not having as many fancy maneauvers, but I thought the slightly older look made him look cooler. Then again, I generally think videogames should try adding some cool characters who are over 25. I mean, look at Auron: greying hair and undoubtedly the most badass character in FFX.
I didn't mind him during cut scenes and story-driven missions, it's just when he'd call up asking to go bowling or to dinner while I've got four wanted stars and half the LCPD (all I did was shoot a hooker in the face and run over a cop tying to arrest me) on my ass, then get pissy when I say no.supermariner said:Easily the best thing in GTA 4 (okay fine, the best fat, Serbian, compulsive lying thing in GTA 4) was Roman. He gets lots of hate for obvious reasons if you've ever played it
But to me he was much needed comic relief,
the series has taken a more realistic and harrowing turn from it's usual ridiculous mindless fun
and Roman was, to me, a reminder of how silly and warped the whole thing used to be
Sure, GTA 4 was still pretty good
but thats not really my point
my point is that I loved Roman
Actually, Desmond is not getting everything handed to him on a silver platter, at least not as of AC Brotherhood. If you read e-mails sent between the other teammates, they point out that Desmond has been screaming in his sleep a lot and there are other clues that Desmond may be loosing his grip on both the present and reality.Vault101 said:.
though thats not always a good thing, kinda feels like one of those charachters (like neo from the matrix) who doesnt actually have to work or earn their awsomeness, they get it handed over to them on a silver platter
