But the last two writers to take over (Terry Moore and Kathyrn Immomen) pretty much killed the series, and it got cancelled. Now the characters are pretty much scattered over several titles, so bringing it back together is probably not going to happen.

Luke Cage and Iron Fist are both confirmed to be showing up via Netflix alongside Daredevil and Jessica Jones before all four of them team up for The Defenders. Though I admit I'm not sure if they plan on doing any just Iron Fist/Luke Cage Heroes for Hire arcs.
