Other than that, I tend to be really pretentious and come up with personalities and backstories for my characters and name them off of that. I usually have a Nechti, though.

For Shin Megami Tensei games, I go with Abara Kedabara, since it's punny and saves me from having to think of a real Japanese name. I've sporadically used Nina Niiner and Frannie Faceface for female characters when I'm feeling particularly silly.
