Got the name "Aryk" from the KOTOR 1 name generator and went a little wild and plopped a second "k" on there. I love the name though and I use it for literally any game that gives me the option to name my character. Also, I only name him this on my main character for any game, who is always the good guy.

For girls, I nearly always use Allison.

I used to use the name Belfus quite a lot in RPGs, though ever since using the name Morbait in Dragon Age as a profile to get jiggy with Morrigan - Morbait seems to have stuck with me.

I try and challenge myself to never recycle character names, but when I suffer complete creativity breakdowns, the name I usually use is Maduin. It's the name of Terra's father in Final Fantasy 6, but I use it as a girl's name.

My other often-reused name is Ilaydria, which I first used in an English exam, and have frequently used for all other subsequent characters I haven't cared about.

I don't usually play male characters at all, but when I have, I use Kieron, because that's my husband's name

Depends what kind of character I'm making;
Yotun is usually a go to name for good ones (since Jotun is rarely, if ever, available)
Scelerat for villainous characters (since it's French for villain, simple as really)
Others are Jespen and Erdun but since I keep getting pestered to see if i'm Swedish when i use Jespen i avoid it now.

But yeah, Joe is my choice of name, unless it's for an MMO or something. It also kinda depends on the game. In the Persona games I usually name myself Naboyuki though (because it means Faithful Happiness or something like that I've heard).

Ithuriel was a weapon from the Onimusha series that was described as being "as old as the world itself", which I liked as a concept.

Illas is, well, my name. My parents suck.
